Tini pulse 41 nearly finished. One more tab to take at lunchtime and I'm done.Recently, I had another set of blood tests. I had been taking pregnenolone until the results of my previous tests. Those tests showed that my testosterone was almost off the scale: >50. I should have been like a rampant rabbit and with the strength of He Man ... but that was not the case. Anyway, that test was late last year. After stopping pregnenolone I had a re-test a couple of weeks ago. At the same time, my doctor had requested that my cortisol be tested. Despite being off of pregnenolone, both levels have come high, though the testosterone has reduced to 35. That doesn't worry me as some men pay good money to have testosterone injected. What is definitely not good are high levels of cortisol; that was 900, sort of double the acceptable level. I know that CPn love cortisol and that they replicate several times faster in its presence. The other thing that occurrs to me is that I might end up looking like Peter Cushing! Is that what all this means? Will worrying about it help my cortisol levels? My GP has put in a referral to an endocrinologist. Strangely, he warned me that the chap I will be seeing is "A bit blunt!" Strange to get a warning like this. It might be like Clash of the Titans. We shall see.G.
