My first post, Finally I got my account activated. This is for my wife who had 2 episodes Optic.N in 2013 and whole body numbness in 2017 but she was diagnosed for RRMS the second time. As of now there is only one lesion in the spine, she is able to do her day to day activity and going to work as well. Started Wheldon protocol since May 21 2018 .Doxy 200mg and Azith  250mg alt days NAC 600mcg twice, Following exactly as mentioned on David's site, including all the supplements. Its only been few weeks. First week she had weakness' in her legs that has reduced a bit. Since last week she is having severe headache, Joint pain,fatigue and muscle weakness. Is this normal ? this early?, Metro has not even been started. Do I need to add or del something temporarily ??

A.Charcoal seemed to help once. But gets back after she takes her morning NAC and supplement dose and night she takes ABX. Has any experienced the same ?

Excuse me as I will not be able to answer the question, I am not competent enough as I am also new and still learning about those. But I think it will be useful to ask, so that others more competent can answer, did you start Doxy 100mg together with NAC 600mg, or something else? How did she tolerate them, how about when you increased NAC to 1200mg or added Azith? Also, when you say that you are following exactly Dr. Wheldon's protocol, does this mean that you have just increased Doxy to 200mg and she started getting the headaches, the joint pain and fatigue, or was it something else?

Here for my mother. She has been having neurological and other health problems that were unexplained for many years and just recently a test showed positive for Cpn and Mycoplasma. Still trying to understand more about Cpn, treatment and possibly start it soon.

Yes, started with Doxy 100mg,Azith 250 alt days,NAC 600mg. She took it well except for some mild flu like symptoms and weakness in her legs which reduced eventually. From 3rd week she increased Doxy200mg, azth250mg , NAC 1200mg and by end of 3rd week she started exp these symptoms.

I am so happy that you have found us.  Please read my blogs-  they deal with EXACTLY that.  I felt exhausted for a very long time, but eventually began to be  less tired.  Apparently it depends on your "bug" load.  For me, it must've been very high because it took a long, long time.  The best thing I can say is that I am walking around breathing because of it.  I am not running a mile every day in 4 1/2 to 5 minutes but I am thrilled to be doing all my work and play.  I am doing it very, very happily.

Thanks a lot katman, Thats a lot of pulsing, I am reading it bit by bit.You were on Avonex, I wonder if it kills CPn or does it have any role in moving the bacteria to cryptic state?.  

I forgot to mention one more important thing, she is having pain in the spine after she started abx. Is it coz of Cytokine response, causing Inflammation ?

The main thing is to stay with it.  Yes, it's hard, but so, so worth it.

Eventually, it will be better.  Keep reading and taking your "stuff" and eating well.

Thank you Katman, smiley you are right, there is no giving up when the solution makes so much sense and is right in front of us. Thanks to everyone in Cpnhelp and also David/Sarah/Straton  for providing more than a decade worth of data.

After reading old posts of Sarah, got a hint that it could be Azith that might have been giving her head ache. Now she is on Roxi and that severe headache seems to have reduced.

I read in one of your posts that you took Amox ? any particular reason ? did it help in any way.?
