Update after 4 months of CAP

After 4 months of CAP I am experiencing massive improvements. My terrible IBS is subsiding, sleep is deep and restorative, my cognitive problems are almost gone (brain fog, terrible memory, lack of concentration, etc.), my depression, anxiety and mood swings are much milder, my muscles no longer ache, my joint pain is gone, I have less headaches and my chronic shoulder tendinitis has started to heal. It feels like a miracle! Before I used to be sick all the time, whether with the flu, colds, unexplained fevers, malaise, athlete’s foot.

5th Pulse Finished

Submitted by Jan Figtree2019 on Sat, 2019-07-06 19:49

I finished my 5th Pulse yesterday (Friday, July 5th).  I did five days of Tinidazole.  I shortened this pulse because it was a holiday week, and I wanted to feel good/more energetic when entertaining.

The Tinidazole is still causing some significant fatigue... I am considering taking it late afternoon/early evening for the next pulse (like Kiki is doing).

Psychologically, the Tinidazole did not cause huge mood dips ... some mild moodiness, but nothing like what I had on the 9-day pulse.

Ankylosing Spondylitis/Scleroderma

For future readers with Ankylosing Spondylitis/Scleroderma:  I don't write too much about how my walking has been affected by Cpn, but it was the first major symptom that something was really wrong with me.  In the fall of 2016, I had been getting progressively stiffer with what I thought, at the time, more painful sciatica.  Sleeping became a nightmare as I couldn't turn in bed without significant pain.  Then, one day I woke up and I couldn't unbend myself to stand.  I couldn't turn my torso...

4th Pulse Completed

4th Pulse Completed

Duration:  9 days   I did nine days because I felt pretty good after five days.  My strategy for all pulses is to try and get to five days, and then play it by ear --lengthening the pulse day-by-day depending on side-effects.  I also stopped at nine days to give my mind-body a break, give my liver a break….my mood and energy improve after stopping a pulse.
