Hello, my name is Matt. I have been suffering tickborne infections (Lyme, Bartonella, Babesia) for more than twenty years.

In 2018, I tested positive for C. Pneumonia but it wasn't paid attention to. I developed secondary Porphyria in 2021. A search for a cause led me here and my C. Pneumonia diagnosis. More recent testing shows I am still positive for it.

I am desperate to talk to others who have C. Pneumonia and esp if you have Porphyria. The latter condition is absolutely hellish. However, no one responds to my requests to be verified on the site.

I was suggesting this site to someone I recently discovered has M.S. when I realized I hadn't actually been here in a while.

The biggest recent development on the M.S. front is that my neurologist, who has been skeptical of the CAP treatment, ordered an MRI (I guess so she could point out progression that just HAD to be there). 

Busy, busy me. Finally made time to see my naturopath and get some testing done.
T4 is a bit low so she may start me on a glandular thyroid supplement.
Cpn is up. IgG is 1:64.
EBV is high. I just really hate that nasty virus.
So I have lots of reliable herbs for EBV
Such as: Larrea, Lemon Balm, Licorice, Lysine and Bee Propolis.

On the way to me now. Endocarditis, resistant to everything back then, except one doc had a few tricks up his sleeve. I wonder what mysteries will be unlocked from that two and a half month stay. Her persistent vague symptoms/conditions have endured/evolved over the years. Parallel with this site's info. Anxiously awaiting to see what bugs and drugs were/are in the mix. Mom and me have some reading to do!

It was pointed out to me yesterday that my last update here was in 2016 – that was my 5 year and 5 month update – so, as we are now able to post here again, it seems like time for another update.  This site tells me I have been a member here for 11 years and 3 months, so that must make this my 11 year and 2 month update.
