not much going on these days on the forum. im currently in mexico and managed to easily find a doctor who prescribes me all of my antibiotics. all i had to do was to show him a lab test for cpn from 2021 and a copy of the prescription from my german doctor showing the abx. i think the doctor system kind of works like this worldwide: if youre at a new doctor you just show him the diagnosis and some paperwork from your previous doctor. the new doctor will usually be happy to just copy and paste it all into his own documentation.

sarah and others who completed the protocol successfully did you take quercetin? i read an interesting interview with Jim K and Dr. A (wanted to stay anonnymous) that quercetin like rifampicin inhibit efflux pumps stopping cells to transport abx outside of the cells. unfortunately i found the interview only by coincidence on this website here though another link from another website.
is Jim K still active here? read his story in part here http://cpnhelp.org/node/77 but its outdated. couldnt send him a private message as his alias seems to be dead.

Hello Marvel, no, I never took quercetin, just rifampicin for six months.
Completed Stratton/Wheldon regime for aggressive secondary progressive MS in June 2007, after four years, three of which intermittent. Still improving bit by bit and no relapses since finishing treatment.

Also Marvel, Jim is no longer active on this site. He is very busy with his psychotherapy practice and writing.

i have tendonits on my right ankle for 2 days now. i suspect its coming from the doxy maybe. it can cause these kind of problems. i think i might skip 1 dose today. anyone had similar experience or a tip for me?
any alternative for doxy? mino is a tetracyclin too well i could try that one. anything else?
im afraid of causing resistance of i discontinue doxy and only remain on azi and nac + metro. advise anyone?

Marvel, you COULD try mino but it tends to have stronger reactions. If you have only had tendonitis for a couple of days, if I WAS YOU, i wouldn't worry about it, because it might just clear up.

yes i can confirm mino usually has more side effects bc i took it before. well i hope it passes... its getting better already maybe bc i paused doxy for a day but ill have to see how this develops...
oh man that treatment is really tough... no wonder theres folks who quit it due to the die off reactions etc.
im still having a lot of pain and i need to stock up on ibu haha

if anybody needs help to find ways of getting antibiotics or other medication (legally of course) maybe i can give some tips. ive reccently read that some ppl have had problems here.
i finished my 5th or 6th pulse of metro now. still can only do 4 days of metro 3x400mg. so still building up. i also upped the azithromycin to 500mg/day for some months now because i still have high antibodies for mycoplasma and want to make sure there is no resistance developping. dont know if mycoplasma is causing me any problems though. well better safe then sorry i hope although taking a higher dose of an antibiotic also comes with more risk but im still fine so far after over 1 year being on abx. still taking the supplements from davids list and a lot of inulin which luckily is easy to find in mexico cause they make so much tequila from agave :)) still cant enjoy the mexican spirits though as alcohol is not good for me.
im slowly improving. im going to the gym 3 times per week. recently i noticed that i could all of a sudden stay longer than 1hour which was all i could manage before. that cpn load must be so high in my body its kind of insane. i still notice a reaction to the azi and doxy alone sometimes even after being on it so long. when i add the metro i get that general feeling of being sick, feeling hot. the speed this is going at i guess ill definitely need another 2 years or so to be on the abx sadly.
merry christmas!
