Wondering about UK based doctors

Body

Hello All

I would be grateful if someone has any info on UK based doctors who may be amenable to prescribing long term antibiotics for cpn. I live near Cambridge, suffering from arthritis for 15 years, tried many different treatments and currently on Sulfasalazine and occasional steroids. Thanks

Thankyou Michael, you were not to know because David died so quickly.
I will write to you next week.

Completed Stratton/Wheldon regime for aggressive secondary progressive MS in June 2007, after four years, three of which intermittent.   Still improving bit by bit and no relapses since finishing treatment.

Hello Michael, you have come along at the wrong period I'm afraid. One reason, doctors tend to stear clear of seeming to be involved with prescribing abx through such sites.

ABX may be bought privately from such places as India and Thailand but I am was put of ďate now of the best companies to use. Somebody else may advice you on this. When I did, I tended to get better results when looking up roxithromycin, for some reason. There are many people more up to date than I am but I think searching for roxithromycin still applies.

It can take a bit of bravery but there are more kosher sites than non kosher ones!

It's nice to see some new posts today, especially from you! I'm always the daily constant reader but seldom the poster. Anyway, not really any physical improvements yet but still trying and hopeful. I'm starting my 20th pulse on March 1st. Since switching to Roxi & Tinni, they are certainly easier to tolerate. I have been using the online pharmacy that was suggested to me (thank you) a few times now with successful deliveries.

Hoping to read some updates from Neena, Jan, Toliveagain, Kiki and all other members. Stay safe!

I am a retired guitar repair/restorer after 35 years. I live in Colorado and am wanting to now restore my health!

Hi Christopher and Everyone,

I am still here. Today is my 10 month anniversary on CAP. I am just finishing my 9th pulse. I expect to feel like crap next week, ugh! Luckily I am starting to notice small improvements. Although it is much slower than I anticipated (I think I had/have a high bacterial load), I am happy with my progress and still going.

If anyone wants to discuss anything I am here. I am interested in Tryptophan. I read some old posts the other day and it seems like the consensus was to NOT add it as a supplement. Anyone have insight? Also Pyruvate? There was a discussion years ago about whether to add it at night so it would convert CB to EB for better killing of CPN with the morning dose of abx? Did anyone try? Is that why Norman's liver function tests went up? And I just stumbled onto the discussions about Niacin. Still need to read. Anyone have input? Man, I wish I knew I had MS/CPN 14 years ago. The discussions were awesome! I am an advanced practice nurse and I love reading research papers (when I'm not in brain fog). I would have loved to have been a part of these discussions.... and future ones, if anyone is game.

Wishing anyone still here on the site tons of luck. Keep going.... it's tough but it's worth it!!

CAP on my own since 04/20. Roxi 300/Doxy 200/Flagyl or Tini pulses every 3-4 wks/20+ supplements adjusted monthly. Battling die off & porphyria often. First improvements noted @ 8 months.

Hello

I was hoping someone would suggest an online pharmacy. I have a couple I have found from India but would prefer to go with a suggestion from one of the members. Appreciate any help with this. Thanks. Michael
