NEWBIE- advice and experiences please! Protocol starting JAN 2019

Body

Hi all incl Sarah and David! I'm new to here. Just recently weeks ago I was diagnosed with intermittant relapsing MS. Seemingly it all started in 2006 with optic neuritis then 2011 with lower limbs tingly,/ numbness. I have been started on daily Copaxen injectitions. But with a severely disabled child Im struggling both physically and mentally. Please help with advice as to how where, who, how much etc to get started on Wheldon Way of treatment. I believe in going in for the underlying cause rather than just band aid stuff. Thank you! Kiki Bojanic

Best to I think.

Kiki, if you feel yucky at the moment, it is probably a good sign and it won't last long, speaking from experience.

Hi Sarah! Feeling good. Still only doing half dosages of Doxy twice a day though. Got the daily plan down to a T now. Will do full dose over weekend and if good will start adding half dosages of Roxy twice a day next week. Feel emotionally much better now Im in charge of my destiny and with a plan forwards!!

Glad to hear it! I didn't start taking the doxy all in one go for several months, I think, because I thought I had to take them as prescribed. One day I saw David taking them both together and upon querying him, he said that if you are taking really long term doses, you can do this.

Kiki - you said above that you are taking half doses of doxy twice a day. Are you sure you mean that? If you are taking 100mg tablet twice a day, that would be full dose.

So..day 6 and I took full daily Doxy meds in one go this morning. It worked fine. Felt it a bit icky for longer today so lets see what tomorrow is like . Maybe I'll hold out for adding the Roxy because of that another week possibly...

I should do that: the last thing you want is to be put off!

Day 7 of treatment plan and day 2 of taking full daily dosage of Doxy meds in one go in the mornings, 2hrs later Probiotics and Magnesium/Calcium Complex followed by lunch and then Omega 3  vitamin E, C, D3, B Complex, B12, Turmeric and Selenium. Feel all good and no particular icky feel as I now know what to expect and how to prep.

I stopped the daily Copaxone injections just after New Year and even a day later I felt like I had more energy.

I'm sticking to my decision of vegan and raw food style I started prior to Xmas so to minimise inflammatory food intake plus up max nutrients and vitamins/minerals in my daily diet.

Feeling all gungho and thinking of pushing it a bit by introducing Roxy on Monday as 2 X half dosages like I did with the  Doxy.

Crazy idea or...

Not if you can manage the vegan and raw food thing, but you will have to make sure that you get enough b12, which is very important.

The best way to find out is something is a crazy idea is to try it: you can always pull back!

Yes, but you could take two or more if you wanted to, because you won't get any with a vegan diet!

Great! As long as Im not overdoing tab wise B12 of what I can take. Had no idea re maximum.

Ps. Im a traitor vegan tho as Ive decided to still eat fish and prawns! Only really have it with family meals 1-2:times a week but figured Id keep it in my diet so Im not having to stuffing myself with beans non stop plus I like sushi too much haha.

You can't overdose on B12. It's important to take enough. (Chuck Stratton has found that in Cpn disease abnormal antibodies are made which bind to B12; this stops the vitamin from getting into the CNS. A large intake of B12 is necessary to fill all the binding sites on these antibodies, allowing a good blood level of free vitamin.)

D W - [Myalgia and hypertension (typically 155/95.) Began (2003) taking doxycycline and macrolide and later adding metronidazole. No medication now. Morning BP typically 110/75]

What about the CNS Kiki? In the beginning, I managed to squeeze fortnightly b12 injections out of my GP. They had an initial effect but faded rather quickly, since they weren't methylcobalamin, like the tablets I take. Also, two of the three nurses couldn't inject without bruising me. So I decided to order some tablets and munch them every day, to keep up the levels, At first I would take up to five a day, now I take one or two.

Forgive me but i'm not remembering what CNS stands for.

Ive got the chewy cherry flavoured B12 from Best Naturals ( methylcobalamin)

That is fine! CNS is central nervous system.

Haha- I should know as trained few years ago becoming clinical hypnotherapist! My minds bit preoccupied...

Week 2 and I leapt. Took full daily dose of Doxy plus half daily dose Roxy this morning. Felt fine so will take next halfdose Roxy this PM and aim to take both full daily dosages together in the morning come weekend as my partner home and feel better supported with kiddie care should I not feel too well.

Also upped B12 to 2 tabs per day.

Ps. Received forms to get copies of my  2006 and 2011 mri full spine/ brain scan so that seems nicely straight forward!

So, all seems to be going well!

Fingers crossed! Once I'm running smoothly ( by next week,) , I'll most likely just be bothering yous here occasionally. Nice to have my thread here as a diary content of treatment plan for myself tho. How do I know when to start purchase of 3rd meds and start the pulsing? Also do you do the 5 days in a row straight away or do you have to build up?

As you can see- I'm deffo into running before I can walk😊😉

Or...I'm just being an old Swede liking to set right course for my plans and clear path from any doubts or questions.

Ps. Just out of interest- is the Roxy meds quite easy on you? Ie when I first started protocol last week with Doxy only, I could feel it a bit more in my tummy- this icky feel. But Im not getting any iffy feelings taking the Roxy now too tho still splitting the daily dosage up in 2 tabs per day. Not complaining mind you! Just curious to know if its more the Doxy that gets you feeling bit sick?

Yes, Roxy is a dream in comparison!

I have only taken azithromycin once, when I ran out of Roxy and it gave me a headache. I don't get headaches normally.

Kiki, yes, I did see your question about tini dosage but was busy doing my tax return!

Tinidazole you take either in two doses of 500mg, or one dose of 1000mg, unlike metronidazole which is taken in three doses of 400mg.

By and large, it is more tolerable than metro, so you should end up fine by taking just one of the larger dose.

(I seem to have accidentally cut it out of the MS bit of my website, so I had better put it back in!)

Since your partner takes over the children at the weekend, that will be the ideal time to start it.  If you feel brave, take 1000mg for the two days, but split in two doses to begin with.  If you feel awful after the first day, don't do the second day, but try it again in a couple of weeks.

There is no rigid timetable here, so you can carry on for as long as you like, or pause as soon as you like!

Just a brief touching base again.

My journey of treatment plan started few weeks ago is now up and running smooth. My routine of lifestyle choice, meds and supplements intake mixed with family responsabilities feel easy peasy . The eager beaver person in me cannot wait til I can give this Cpn a proper kick straight in the jugular by April time. The bidding time is hard for me as I've always said patience is the last thing I'll learn😊😁...but I'm forced to learn. So for me to learn better I'd thought I'd ask for a brief explanation of what is really happening in the body during these stages til I get to the 3 months. Out of interest and also better knowledge so I can work on myself with sharper more positive focus longterm.

💖 Kiki

My intake of B 12 is 30,000 units sublingually EVERY day.
