Late as per usual, I started pulse number 51 yesterday lunchtime. I have a strong lead but am conscious of JaneK coming up fast on the inside. For any spectators wondering how come I'm late yet again, I always have an excuse, and this time itsi a good one. JaneK has commented that it's been a while since I last posted ... so I'll do a separate post featuring my excuse.SmileG.

Hi Glen,

Looking forward to the excuse, glad to see you are still pushing on.

Best wishes.

SG,

i recently went to a funeral that was so joyful i told the widow how sorry i was, for her and everyone who knew this funny, kind, albeit dead, man, but i was glad for him,  I hope she understood and i hope you understand that i’m really glad your Metro pulse wasn’t plain sailing! You’ve had it too easy up to now. And haven’t improved enough!  So get on  with it, impress those bints!

I SO need the entertainment, but how goes the pulse?

Hi Mack!

So, you are in need of entertainment? The trouble is, my humour knows no bounds. Not everybody enjoys having their leg pulled (or any other bits for that matter). It could be unwise to risk a smack from MacK ... or anyone else. April fools' day has been and gone.

About half an hour ago, I had my last tablet of this metro pulse. I can't say that I got the bottle like Terri from the Isle of Skye who has been doing 10 day tini pulses with only 10 days in between. I cannot say that I have the bottle, nor the stamina of lucky Irene, who also did double pulses. It must be a Scottish thing. It must be the practice of chasing down and catching wild haggis that gives them both the stamina and determination to stay the course.

Anyway, this pulse is over for me. I've done a few before, though hardly any pulses with Metronidazole. For the first time on a pulse, I could actually say that this one was hard-going. Instead of just feeling a bit yukky, I felt somewhat rough. Perhaps I should start chasing haggis ... but actually, there's no way any of them are found in the wild this far South.

Even rarer for this part of the world, the Sun came out today and it hasn't even rained in Swansea. Can you believe it? I ventured out late this afternoon taking some pictures on the marina. I took some video using my new gimbal too.
I went to a restaurant that I've been meaning to revisit after it's relocation on the marina and had a ching chong wang.

So there you have it MacK; nothing amusing from me today.

Hi Glen,

So glad to hear that you are getting some reaction from the metro, it’s the only indication we have that we are winning the battle and why Terri has increased the pace.

I hope you’re not disappointed but Terri’s a good old Yorkshire lass, we ended up on Skye because we needed to be mortgage free so that I could stop work to care for her. Turns out to have been a good decision despite all the wind, rain and midges but given half a chance we will return to good old Yorkshire.

Keep fighting.

Best wishes
