"Here she goes again!"  You must be saying, but please could some people occasionally pop into Thisisms.  I am about to post there that they can find the correct address for this site at the bottom of one of my webpages, but if they come here and likewhat they see, they will have a lotof trouble to try to join.  Thank-you all!.....................Sarah

Actually, they won't have a lot of trouble joining; they will only have to wait to be confirmed.

I see at least one hundred spammers for every legitimate attempt to join the site.  Added to that, the site is under attack so much of the time, when I try to delete the spammers or add that one legit applicant, I get error messages from the server and have to start my process all over again, and sometimes again, and sometimes again.

Today, after two days of frustrated attempts to work on the spammer/applicant list, I finally got a solid opening and was able to delete loads  of bogus entities and gave two people their 'go-ahead'.

So, let anyone new know it might take a couple of days til they're approved, but we'll get to them.  I'm still awaiting the updates to this page and the security improvements they'll bring.  It would really free up my 'free time'.  LOL.

Don't worry: I will let people know!!

Good grief!

I had no idea that the number of attacks on our site was so vast. All of this work that it creates for you is absolutely huge, MacK. This must be extremely wearing and eventually might put a strain on your resolve to continue. Is it not possible that you might get some assistance to give you a bit of a break from this constant onslaught?

This would be an appropriate time to say thanks for everything you do.
