So Suzanne, you must have finished your 54th pulse by now, so we will look forward to the next tranche of improvements that Glenn notices when he talks to you!................Sarah

Completed Stratton/Wheldon regime for aggressive secondary progressive MS in June 2007, after four years, three of which intermittent.   Still improving bit by bit and no relapses since finishing treatment.

Many months ago I was doing my utmost to give out positive vibes and encouragement.  Things were already improving for Froggy back then and I hoped and prayed that they would improve even more.  I suggested that by the end of the year, she'd be walking better than me.

At this point, please allow me to digress and tell a story to illustrate a point:

2007 was the last good year for me. I had three holidays abroad; the last being two weeks in Cuba whilst the snow was falling in the UK.  I saw lots of interesting things whilst there and learnt some valuable lessons too.  I recall seeing a postcard or a cartoon ... or suchlike.  It featured a naked chappy who was wishing that his dick would reach right down to the floor. On awakening the following morning, his wish had been granted: his legs had shrunken to little stumps!

Be careful what you wish for.

Now I did hope and pray that Froggy's walking would be as good as mine. Yes, it seems that that particular wish had almost been granted ... though not in the way that I had hoped for.

Froggy, I would be delighted for you to overtake me ... but I want that done by you moving forward, not by me moving backwards.  I have recently seen you walking (via Skype) and you have improved ... though, as you say, not enough.

Right, it may be the middle of January but before you know it, spring will be knocking at the door. Spring is the time for growth and renewal. Spring is the time for us northerners to spring forward ... so let's do that.  To those like tiger down in Australia and Jam way down in New Zealand, let's hope your Summer sunshine warmth is bringing you healing and better health.

Good luck and good health to all of us CAPers out there!
