Yuckky toay

Body

Today I feel yuckky if that is a word!  And I don't feel well enough to look this up so I thought I'd just look for some advice.  My head is pounding on the right side along with behind my right eye.  I also feel queasy.  I've eaten bread and taken vitamin C.  As you can see from my signature I am taking 100 mg minocycline once a day and 1000 NAC.  I recently increased the NAC but didn't take the entire amount yesterday.  I don't know if this is die-off or what.  Can that be the case with what I am taking.?  And what would anyone suggest I do?Thank you for your help.Lori

Lori, I think its the season for feeling yucky but it could be a number of reasons. Die-off yes, even at 100 mg because you are taking NAC as well.  Endotoxins will build up in the  system.  Secondary porphyria, maybe, but it was never something I suffered from greatly.  Lastly, just a plain old virus: I guess you are just as prone to them in Florida as elsewhere.  If you are feeling really queasy, I should just lie low and see what happens.  Ease up on the NAC, maybe but continue the minocycline if you don't sick it up.  If you do, don't worry about it until you feel better............Sarah    An Itinerary in Light and Shadow...........Completed Stratton/Wheldon regime for aggressive secondary progressive MS in June 2007, after four years, three of which intermittent.   Still slowly improving and no exacerbation since starting. EDSS was 7, now 2, less on a good day.

Thanks, that's what I thought.  I'm pretty sure it's not a virus or anything like that.  It doesn't feel like that.  I feel like it is more likely the die-off but wasn't completely sure since I am doing mino and NAC only, not any other antibiotics.
I just ate some pasta and actually feel a little better.  That's why I don't think it's viral.  I'll keep at it.  How strange to feel good about feeling bad!!!!

Oh, but Lori, that is how it works! Slowly, we get tiny little moments and it   does  <>feel so good.  Get through this time a moment at a time, remember that at  one of those moments you felt good, read a good book, get through the next bad one ......see how it works?

Thanks Rica!  This evening is actually better than today.  I did practically nothing today until I watched my son's basketball game this afternoon.  I think it helped to take it easy.  I'm okay with the ups and downs-just like to check in to be reassured that what I am experiencing is correct!

Everything is better today.  It must have been die-off like Sarah said.   So that is reassuring.  And I have read how many people are having good days now so that also reinforces the resolve!  Thanks for your help!
