Working up a pulse
Sorry guys, I am full of questions today.
I am wondering what approach is better in working up to a full 5 day flagyli pulse. For those of you who can't tolerate the full shabang at first, is it better to do one pill per day for 5 days or to do what we have been doing---3 pills per day for one day, then two days, and then three days until you hit five days...???

Mu own tolerance is apparently limited to 375mg as I keep repeating. Maybe I should go do something else. I sink a little lower each day but even d5 has been manageable at that steady dose 3xd but by the end of day 5 I am more than ready for it to be over. For me, it take as long to come out as it did to go under. From the beginning I did 5 day pulses, only cutting it to 3 days last Dec when I wanted to, in Jim's words, "show well". (I did - I got disowned by my neuroi). But the goats don't mind if I stagger a little as long as they get lunch. Your Jim's remark is one of those perfect descriptions - a suit of armor. Exactly right. Incredibly exciting that he is better.

3/9 Symptoms returning. Began 5 abxi protocol 5/9 Rifampin 600, Amox 1000, Doxyi 200, MWF Azith 250, flagyli 1000 daily. Began Sept 04 PPMSi EDSSi 6.7 Now good days EDSS 1 Mind, like parachute, work only when open. Charlie Chan In for the duration.
Lexy- It's suggested by Dr. Stratton to try one pill, one day at first. Doing that helped me get a sense of how much reaction I was going to have. Second time I did one pill for (I think) three days. Then I tried to work up to two pills per day for three days. I couldn't imagine trying to do one pill a day for five days for the first pulse, but it will all depend on the reaction and load, which is why you start simple and slow.
