why does taking Valtrex make me feel better? Please read and try to help me. Thank you

I have CPN, Ulcerated colitis, Lyme's, Herpes simplex 1 & 2, never a out break though only cold sores. I think I have CMV virus in my colon but the only way to check I heard was doing a scope and taking a biopsy. My ulcertive colitis, is being cause by something I believe. When I take Valtrex my pain is not as bad in my rectum.

My Lyme's doctor wants me on a ton of antibiotics, which I was taking for 6 months until I started having panic attacks or adrenial rushes he called them.

My UC doctors just prescibes me liquid enemas for the inflammation but that's not helping the root cause. They make me ill, and depressed and they made me have crying spells.

I take Valtrex I have more energy and I'm not in as much pain. My Lyme's doc doesn't like Valtrex for some reason, he just told me don't take those, when I told him once they really did help my ulceritive colitis.

I feel I'm self medicating myself. I dont' know what to do anymore. No one wants to find the cause. I go back to my Lyme's doc who told me I had CPN in a couple weeks, I probably need more testing. He said if my UC didn't improve go see my GI. So maybe the Lyme's isn't causing my UC, maybe it's CMV virus, you can get the herpes in the colon I guess.

I took Valtrex for six(?) weeks against a shingles attack. It goes after viruses. For long term use my doctor has me on Lauricidin. It is active against viruses and retroviruses, and other pathogens. I am sorry you have so much pain and inflammation.
