Lymphocytes, cells vital for your immune system, depend on glutathione for their proper function and replication.

Hmm, usually people get just die-off from whey protein. But I see that you have myco as a part of your diagnosis (just looking for reasons why people react differently to various supplements).
No official diagnosis.

lee mcghee, what's the financial name of your supplement?(I DO BELİEVE İN WHEY PROTEİNS)

My MD has reccommended Hydrolized Whey specifically to increase glutathione levels.  Lee what Brand Whey Protein Powder are you using?  He thinks that the hydrolized aspect is important.    Louise

One thing you might watch out for with proteins is the high amount of tryptophan in some, which is advised against in the CPN handbook for reasons I can't remember for sure.  I do agree about getting reactions from taking protein though, I just don't know if its good or bad.  You might just take glutamine (I think a precursor to glutathione) or more NAC

I personally have not experience any reaction from taking protein.  I take it the the comment meant die off reaction and I have not had that in relationship to taking Hydrolysed whey protein powder.  Louise

I got some die off in the beginning but it went away. Right noe I ake muscletech or Nitro tech. Very good stuff. loaded with amino acids and a lot of extra stuff to get the protien to your muscles. I also take creatine which helps a lot too. Also you cant take glutathione orally becuase its very poorly absorbed thru the stomach. Your better of taking a a precursor such as ALA, Glutamine and Whey Prtotien. Dr Pericone says glutathione cream works very good becuase skin is a good absorbant.
