It has been some time since I have updated my blog so here goes. What to say???, breath, wind me up &&& …. I have been disengaged on the site as I just haven’t had the mindset to handle the stress. I apologize for this as I know that my support has made a difference to some. I found myself reading the posts and was getting stressed out & frustrated with it all.

Autoimmunity and bacteria
Submitted by paron on Fri, 2008-05-16 11:06.Common Bacteria Activating Natural Killer T Cells May Cause Autoimmune Liver Disease
The title sums it up pretty well. The text of the article also claims that there is increasing evidence that autoimmune disorders are triggered by microbes.
introduction and inquiry about topicals
Submitted by Twickle Purple on Mon, 2008-04-28 21:50.Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read this post.
I was not able to locate information referencing contraindications to my Rx topicals.
Please pardon me if this is covered elsewhere.
I'll start with a bit about where I'm at and have been.
Mental
I'm a graphic designer who works from home. I have a happy homelife and a positive worklife. I believe that i am a healthy person, I just do not physically feel like one. I have long suspected that everything I experience is tied together, so am really happy to see this Web site. I want to live my life again: I want to go outside into the sunshine; ride a bike; shop in a store!

FMS symptoms, besides pain meds??
Submitted by Lynn on Fri, 2007-12-07 13:49.Good afternoon!
I've been having fibromyalgiai symptoms for the past 4 days- neck, left shoulder, back of head, band across my head from 1 temple to the other, down my spinal cord. I haven't dealt with fibro symptoms in several years and I can't remember what I can do to relieve my pain and stiffness.
I've been taking Lortab (Hydrocodone with acetaminophen) and/or Ultracet, aspirin, using a topical analgesic oil rub and a moist heat wrap. I'm also stretching. I've considered the chiropractor and massage therapist just haven't made appointments yet.
Restless Legs??? Need answers quick please!
Submitted by Lynn on Sun, 2007-12-02 15:16.Restless legs?? Need answers quick please! I was out last night with my friend when all of a sudden I felt like I was going to have a seizure. I have felt this way on and off since starting the protocol so I know it's part of the cpni (besides having a hx of these sizures which i now know is Cpn related seizures). Had not had feelings of a seizure in a couple of years before CAPi protocol. Anyway, after that I realized that I felt I could not stand up. My legs were so weak and I started having the sensation that ants were crawing inside legs. Haven't had restless leg syndrome since last winter with EBVi. And it got really bad last night.
Best day yet! Quick update...
Submitted by Lynn on Tue, 2007-11-27 23:19.Best day yet! Quick update on my health... I'm in 2nd week of NACi 600mg, Doxyi 200mg, and Erythromycin 250mg and I actually had a decent day. Had stamina for about 6 full hours of work today and I've been online a while tonight. I was only nauseated once today and was able to knock it out with some good ole' fashion compazine. I've been stuffy for several days and sneezing, but not so bad that I can't deal with it! Much better than the NAC flu!
I'm tiring now, but actually feel like I can say I felt better today than I have since starting CAPi. I'm trying not to set myself up by reminding myself that tomorrow is a new day, come what may, and not to get discouraged if this doesn't last.
Anyone knows Dr in Maryland or closest states? Dr Carter in Florida?
Submitted by arthritic on Mon, 2007-11-26 11:50.Hello, everyone,
I had posted once on the forum, including a very brief description of my story. Now it's time to start a blog as I understand, I am here for A LONG HAUL. I am not sure where to start as there is so much to all my illness.
I guess, my arthritis/tendonitis and myalgia would be the main complaint. Then hypertensioni, then sinusitis, hypothyroidism, heart palps, chronic cystitis, PID, hand cysts, mild cough, brain fog and fatigue. All of this started one by one since I was 8 yrs old but only recently after doing a bunch of research and this year being dx with Reiter's syndrome I put 2 and 2 together and figured out that Cpni infection could cause all or any of my conditions.
my story...
Submitted by johnwilbanks on Sun, 2007-11-25 18:22.Ok, my name is john. i'm going to try to write this quick and keep it relatively short because my thoughts come and GO pretty fast. i've gotten used to it and it only irritates me in times like this when it's important for me to get the thoughts on the paper fast. I'm here because of a friend and a discussion that we were having about the length of time someone can have these problems and still be moderately functional as a person. JimK's name was brought up because apparently he had this problem for quite some time. i would have written him directly but i thought it would be more appropriate to do this...
Need to talk to someone soon
Submitted by Lynn on Tue, 2007-11-06 22:57.Need to talk to someone soon. I'm feeling a little desperate at the moment. Don't know how to IM, willing to learn or willing to just e-mail back and forth.
Please, confirm that there is no general trend...

Have just been diagnosed. Besides Wiggy, who else has developed it, after beginning flagyl/tini?
Please tell me, there's no way that flagyl/tini has anything to do with this!
