Steroids

Hello everyone,

I have been off the Abx since August, and I don't plan to get back on because I am afraid of how much worse I might become. My cpn IgG titter is 1:64 and hasen't changed in 3 1/2 years of Abx, and I haven't seen any signs of improvement. I have an Epstine Barr titter of IGG of 1:02.

I haven't taken steroids in 5 years. I have been taking 300mg of Biotin daily for 7 months, and a lot of other supplements. I feel horrible, so I am considering getting back on steroids. Does anyone have any suggestions on this.

Thank you so much,

Rachel

Hi!

You must keep your own council. You are the captain: must decide the course to steer. This getting well lark is not a lark at all ... and neither is it a religion. I say, whatever it takes for you to make progress ... then you do it, Hun. If you are wrong ... are you wrong for trying?

You try whatever you need to try and you do whatever you need to do. This is not a religion. It is not about believing in the path of true righteousness, rather it it is about making the best of a shit situation.

Rachael, I can't claim to have gotten well either. What ever it takes for you and I to make life liveable, we do it. If I can find a way through this mess, then sure as Hell I'll let you know ... and I sure as Hell hope you'll let me know too.

Good luck with whatever you do. You take care..

Rachel, I say raise the biotin dose, even up to 600 mg a day and also take a small amount of steroids again so that you feel a bit less shitty. Some people on the trial had to take that amount..........Sarah

Completed Stratton/Wheldon regime for aggressive secondary progressive MS in June 2007, after four years, three of which intermittent.   Still improving bit by bit and no relapses since finishing treatment.

RC,

Make sure that you keep taking vitamins etc that will a) boost your immunity & b) some are anti chlamydial in themselves

so great supplements to have are: B1-6, B12, folate, vitamin D, curcumin, NAC, resveratrol etc

I have a list i did as a word doc with anti chlamydials listed with & without scientific evidence. You can "pulse" with those instead!

Send me a PM with your email address if you want it.

All the best!!

I got almost back to 100 percen, then had a knee replacement and it all came back and I couldn't get better, I was scratching my head so I started more investigation, first I wasn't taking antifungals, then I read the book by Dr. Richard Horowit, Why Can't I Get Better, it deals with Lyme disease but he has a sixteen points sayi there is something else going on, I had low blood pressure which I didn't know was bad. its well worth reading. I am still on all the antibiotics on the Weldon protocol, and high dose biotin. Making sure I take all the supplements now thing are finally going forward I am seeing little improvements all the time and I finally have fingernails lol.
