For the past week I have been struggling with what appears to feel like a chest cold (or those CPN elementary bodies are reactivated?) This is such a strange feeling, in that, even though I have been "sick" with all the repercussions of the protocol, I haven't had anything like a cold, flu, or viral type illness since being on CAP. I have been running a low grade fever, coughing and feeling very flu-like. Considering I don't get out of the house much, if it is viral my husband probably brought it home.
I am 24 days post pulse... the only thing I have done differently over the past month is change the brand of my NAC. I have been using, for 1.5 years, a brand that is compounded for my local health store (it really smells, but I felt it worked fine) When I ran out I order some Jarrow Formulas N-A-C sustain... and have been taking that. Could this be a delayed reaction to the NAC since it is "time-released" or just a coincidence?
Even for as sick as I have been off and on over the past year or so, I forgot how "yucky" it is to have feel like you have a chest cold, LOL!
UPDATE: November 9, 2008
Well, it obviously wasn't the NAC, as I have spent the last week in bed with a severe chest cold/flu, whatever. I feel as sick as I did when I first became ill. Not much I could do except ride it out... Doc advised to take Azith for 7 days.. am on day 5. Yesterday I was able to be out of bed but my chest does hurt and I have been having that deep chest coughing... no phlegm though. Wow, how did I get sick when I very seldom leave the house!
I am REALLY getting tired of being non-functional.... :(
