Sarah, could you please give us a primer on yaeyama chorella?

I started taking it when I was pulsing but did not think of it outside of pulsing. So my questions are:

Should chlorella be part of a daily regimen?

Must it be taken at a different time from abxi?

Are we limited to the 10 pills a day listed on the box or can we take more if we feel lousy? Is there a limit?

Thanks.

We both take yaeyama chlorella nearly every day.  You can take it at any time, with anything and I have been known to take up to twenty at a time.  Twelve is the most I can safely swallow in one mouthful, though. Here's a link to where I get it from, in sachets rather than boxes or tubs:

Thanks. I went to the site

Thanks. I went to the site and, strangely enough, although you can buy 3 different size bags of tablets, it doesn't tell you how many tablets are in a bag. BTW, I passed your consultant info on to my ID specialist.I hope he hasn't tried the protocol and rejected it. Anyway, thanks for that too.

Eagle eyes can see that

Eagle eyes can see that the 200 g tub contains 800 * 250 mg tablets, but there are three 300 g bags, al different prices, however, Chlorella-europe, where I actually get the stuff from is more explanatory.  I thought they were the same site but perhaps they aren't.........Sarah

Ah, Sarah, instead of that other nickname perhaps it would be more appropriate to call you Chlorella DeVille? How much do you like fur coats? Spots?

Yeayama is the name of the chlorella freshwater algae, not a company name, Yeayama is considered to be the best chlorella.   It comes in different dosage capsules.   The one  I take (mostly to regulate my bowels) is 400mg and I take between three and six tablets a day.

  Chlorella de Ville here,

Chlorella de Ville here, taking a lunch break.  It is a beautiful sap green, but it fades very quickly, so keep it in the dark.  You need to take it every day for a couple of months before really noticing any benefit.m If you buy yaeyama chlorella you can be assured it hasn't been tainted with marine pollutants, because it is grown in big freshwater tubs......Sarah

Jim, You are so lucky that

Jim,

You are so lucky that the cold, dark waters of the Atlantic safely separate you from Miss de Ville, watchful chatelaine of this draughty castle. Even now she is conning the horizon from its highest ramparts. Nothing escapes her attention.

A pubmed search on chlorella + oral or chlorella + diet gives some very interesting and tantalizing abstracts. Here's a compendium of abstracts I put together a few years ago: http://www.davidwheldon.co.uk/Chlorella-abstracts.pdf

The Chatelaine was quite wise in posting how this particular chorella is produced. One of my previous doctors did not advocate taking chlorella because he fears that it is all contaminated with heavy metals (mercury). D W's last abstract on his page is significant to me in that my daughter was prescribed a casein-free diet. Maybe starting her on Chlorella would be a good idea. --Minai RRMSi, diagnosed 2/04.
