I am so glad I found this site. I have been to so many Dr's and had so many wrong diagnoses.  Ashtma, Broncitis, enphasema sinisitis, cronic fatigue., FIbro Myalgia. Recently I found a new Dr. that thinks out of the box. Since I have been a heavy equipement mechanic for 35 years, he tested me for heavy metals, ant it came back positive for lead. My new Dr. also looked at my B12 and D3 levels which were both extreamly low. Now today I got the test results back from my CPN IGG test, and it was positive. I have been getting B12 injections weekly now for 6 weeks along with suppliments of B12, D3, and an entire wiches brew of additional suppliments and probiotics. The 2 weeks of Axithromax felt like sticking a knife in my lungs along with feeling so bad I wanted quit the CAP. Doe's anyone out there know anything about Liprinal, does it work, and what is the scam? Thank you for getting me on the right track. Rodney

Hi, Rodney - No clue on liprinol, but wanted to comment on your reaction to azithromycin. The 'good' thing is, you HAD a reaction!

Are you taking anything else, or did the dr just give you one ZithroPak?

Welcome, Rodney

Liprinal is an otc symptomatic treatment, like many other pain-relivers.  It is not even good at joint pain relief.  You may need nothing eventually - I didn't.

This site is a wonder, and you will learn so much about what you have and, the best, how to get better and maybe cured.

Please read, read, read.  I have been working for five and a half years - after quitting too early and sliding back almost to the bottom - and have left most of my bad stuff behind.  The lung reaction is interesting.  I had really bad sinusitis for fifty years, and aching lungs for the same, with a bad cough, helped along by my smoking.  I have NO cough, aching lungs, or arthritis.  All these things (and more) were getting worse and worse, and are completely gone now.  Really amazing - and my doctor is my greatest champion, except for my husband.  Of course, that is not even mentioning the reason I began the protocol - I have MS, of which most is gone.

Good luck.  A wonderful thing is that your doctor is not an imbecile - he is smart and courageous like mine.

3/9 Symptoms returning. Began 5 abx protocol 5/9 Rifampin 600, Amox 1000, Doxy 200, MWF Azith 250, flagyl 1000 daily. Began Sept 04 PPMS EDSS 6.7 Now good days EDSS 1 Mind, like parachute, work only when open. Charlie Chan  In for the duration.&am

Hi Rodney,

Studies suggest that "Lyprinol" is a 5-Lipoxygenase (5-LOX) inhibitor and still other studies suggest that 5-LOX inhibitors might interfere with the activity of the antimicrobial peptides, cathelicidins, that are induced by vitamin D.   If you're dealing with infections (and taking Vit D3 for them), you may want to avoid 5-LOX inhibitors like Lyprinol.     Be sure to talk this over with your doctor..

Here is some more information on this subject:

Hope this helps...

Good luck!

What are you defining as a 2 week course of azithromycin how many doses in that one week? On alternate days? in what dosage?

My IgG was >1:512 three years ago before I started treatment.  Based on my experience I needed long them CAP with all three agents as defined in the informational lists on the tabs at the top of these pages.  Louise
