Rifampin and benzodiazepines?

Hi to all !

Just wanted to ask if anybody took rifampin together with benzodiazepins ? I am going to start rifa soon. But I am taking lorazepam (ativan) . I read that the bloodlevel of benzos is rapidly decreased while taking rifampin. But I am not sure if lorazepam is affected so much because I think it is not metabolized through the P450, but I am not sure.

Does anyone know more about this interaction or tokk benzos while on rifampin?
