Yes, I have been through the wars recently. Through most of August and nearly all of September, I was not well at all. I had a little theory that running out of probiotic capsules allowed some sort of fungal overgrowth. All just a theory.
Anyway, last week, I was just looking forward to my holiday in Costa Lot. I was due to fly out on Saturday afternoon. On Friday afternoon I felt a bit of a toothache. I took a couple of ibuprofen and it soon passed. On Friday evening it was back with a vengeance. I had maxed out on painkillers and was ringing NHS direct. I was offered an emergency dentist appointment for the following morning at 11 O'clock. Our airport taxi was booked to pick us up at 10.00. The pain that I was in pointed to only one thing: cancellation. I tried oil of clove but I couldn't even tell where the pain was coming from. I had an idea. Even if I had seen the dentist, he wouldn't have operated anyway. He's probably have said that "You have an abscess. Take these and come back in five days." I would have had a script for painkillers and a short course of metronidazole. I had loads of tinidazole already on my kitchen table. I popped a tini tab and by the morning, I could tell that it was gonna work. The flight was delaid buI I was on it.
I am currently an apartment in the Costa Lot pulsing the night away.
I wish that I had brought a lot more tini with me. I will soon run out. Cocodamol will not make it bearable if it returns as before.
