Anyone have trouble with this please and thanks?

I am reading that Tinidazaole can cause kidney probs? Can anyone advise? No answers last time I posted so trying again - I have UTI/Kidney Strep B that I can't kick. DOcs advise going off the abx. Help? Please?

Hi Luckypenny!

Sorry to read that you've not been quite so lucky with kidney infections & a UTI. You say that it is strep B; presumably lab tests have shown it to be that.

Look, regarding bladder UTIs, one answer to that problem is antibiotics; the other answer is D-MANNOSE. This is just a semi-inert sugar. It is completely harmless to humans. We give it to my mother. I urge you to try it. The worst possible outcome is that it just doesn't work for you; there are no other risks.

Hey, hope you soon feel well again, Hun.

Hi Luckypenny!

If you are ill then there is no good reason to avoid seeing professionals at the clinic or wherever. The reason that so many of us here are self-treating is that we a forced into that position. If you can get treatment for your ailment, then take - don't be shy.

Yes, actually, I have become extremely good at lying - not wanting to put docs at risk and also sooo very tired of the eye-rolling from uninformed docs. You hit it right on. Though, I know that sitting in the clinic with all of the flu bugs is not a good thing either. Don't want it.Wink
