Thisisms denial of death from ms? [1]

Wasn't there a brouhaha a few months ago on "thisisms" over someone mentioning death by ms? A strange denial, it seemed to me. Thought this obit might be of interest. Perhaps it should be posted there.

Steve J's Update: Rewind? [4]

Steve is nearing the end of a one-month course of tetracycline + azithromycin + fluconazole. Something is happening which I have been waiting to post, but I learned something this morning that pushed me over the edge. Here is an excerpt of a PM I sent to a cpnhelp buddy yesterday:

A Walking Conundrum -- Perhaps a Dilemma [11]

Submitted by Arttile on Tue, 2008-08-19 18:50.
  • Multiple Sclerosis [3]

I began limping early in 2001. I only limped after doing .7 miles on the treadmill and I dismissed it as strange but meaningless. However, whenever I reached that .7 mark I could no longer feel or control my right leg below my knee. Nevertheless, I continued to function fairly well without complete sensation and worked out 3 times/week to ensure that. But my walking continued to deteriorate. In 2006 the neurologist decided that I had msi [3] and estimated that I had another 10 years until I would need a wheelchair. He did not anticipate the rapid deterioration that followed menopause.

This is an update on/for Brenda. She was being seen by a nueurologist in Charlotte, NC, 2 1/2 years ago when I met her again after a number of years. We discovered that we both had MSi [3]. She had been on ONLY Rifampin and flagyli [9], and at my urgent request, my doctor, who was taking no new patients, took her. She has been on Doxyi [8] for about a year now in addition to Rifampin and flagyl. She called today to catch up on news and while we were talking about John (farandwide)and his rocky journey, she realized that she had just walked out into the yard to the workers doing repairs on her roof and then walked back. It hit her that she had forgotten her cane!

Daft questions [14]

I have been on the CAPi [15] treatment for approximately a year. My mind is very muddled and along with my brain not retaining much, I also ask the daftest questions!!!! I have asked daft questions like where do I buy Glucose tablets, I know where to buy glucose tablets! What a stupid question! I meant to ask where do I buy Cholestryramin..... (thanks Daisy).  I think writing a blog is a good option, if just to keep an ongoing record.

On the eve of pulse 26, I can't help but reflect on some things that people here as well as in my day-to-day life have suggested to me.  The suggestions have been good, considerate ones, and I recognize that; however, I have decided not to take the suggestions, at least not yet.

What suggestions am I referring to?  I'm referring to the suggestion that I get a cane or a walker.  I refuse, outright, until I have no other choice.  And despite the hell I put myself through, I have a choice, and I choose to fight.

Need advice -- feel like MS is progressing but perhaps it's CAP reactions?? [20]

I'm taking all the supplementsi [22] and have finished my 3rd full pulse.  What I have believed to be progression of my MSi [3] symptions I'm wondering if they are really reactions to the CAPi [15].  It is much more difficult to get around with my 'rollator' and I'm am doing much less than I used to do.  Now I usually just sit in my chair or lie down for a rest.  I used to 'roll' around on the patio and take off old blooms on the flowers; now it isn't worth the effort.  If some one does it, that's great, but I don't get stressed if it doesn't get done.  (I live alone).  The point isn't my flowers, I'm just trying to give an example of how my abilities have descreased.  I don't take any "moppers" and do not understand what they are and when to take them.  I don't take charcoal

Has anyone tested the 714-X from Gaston Naessens - Good for MS [23]

Hi All,

I have tested the 714-X injections from Mr. Gaston Naessens some months ago and feel far more better (more memory, more concentration, more physical energy especially in legs).

I have only done 3 complete cycles to make my lymphatic system more liquid.

The self-injection protocol is easy.

During treatment, high and lows, just after, 1 complete month of NORMAL ENERGY. A second life.

Now, again, a little down (but higher than before).

I intend to start it gain for 9 - 12 cycles in the next months when $$$.

FRS by Lance Armstrong is also a great product to provide energy and well being and effective antioxidanti [26] without crashing like you would from caffeine intake. www.frs.com [27] They offer a free trial. No, it's not only for cancer patients You can get a powder mix, flavored chews, concentrate or already mixed in a can as a Red Bull is. It is quercetin and all natural vitaminsi [28] and yes has a small amount of caffeine to aid in absorbtion by the body but no more than equal to a 1/4 cup of coffee which wouldn't really effect anyone should that be all they drink of caffeine in a day.

Zeolite....Heavy Metal remover [104]

Has anyone else been using this or knows of it? I highly recommend it. Zeolite is mean't to remove heavy metals from the body that the liver cannot handle. It is negatively charged and attracts the metals in this fashion as they are positively charged. You take it once a day. 1 teaspoon with 8 ounces of water or any other fluid should you require a taste to it. There is a liquid form also available should require it.

The title was suggested by a conversation between two of our most battle-hardened warriors, and I couldn't resist it. This has been one of the most eventful years of my life - busy, too. Beginning in January with surgery and moving through kidding season, then a very, very good show season, this last taking a temporary break after the best Nationals in years, then linear classification of our goats, now a break for the really bad August heat (this is AFTER the really bad July heat), then a resumption of show season next month, which wil begin my fifth year of MSi [3] treatment.

The wandering road... [106]

I was reflecting on my morning and decided to put something down.  This is a typical  morning in terms of what can and often happens to me.  The CAPi [15] I've been following for 25 months has impacted it somewhat, albeit in subtle ways.

Most recently, I have thought that I _may_ have greater heat tolerance then last year (last summer) but it's hard to tell when the ambient temperature jumps so much, so fast.  If my imagining are correct, I've inched up to about 90 degrees F before the heat really starts to slow me down and impact my mobility.  Last year, it was 87 degrees F.  The year before, 81 degrees F.  I'm not sure about it though, just seem to be tolerating the heat a little better.

Finished 3rd blog -- 5 days.  I dislike them tremendously but I think it's because of normal reactions to metroi [9] vs CPNi [108] die-off -- extremely tired, weak.  I hope not.  I feel that my MSi [3] is progressing to the point that I can't go very far at all with my rollator like I used to.  The reason I think I'm progressing instead of CPN die-off is because this progression began before I started CAPi [15].  I have never been tested; DO YOU THINK I SHOULD?  On the positive, I got a beautiful Himalyian kitten yesterday -- I think I'm calling her Baby Bleu -- I'll post a picture of her one of these days.
