Buhner herbs

Body

I started the buhner herb protocol at the beginning of last month and started on a very small dose. I began herxing soon after and it’s getting worse. I’m still only at a fifth of the intended dosage! So I’m not looking forward to that 😧 I guess herxing is a positive thing as it means something’s happening

Comments

I guess it does, but my 'herxing' with the antibiotics only lasted for the first couple of weeks, then when I started metronidazole I was just depressed and tearful: no herxes there!

Completed Stratton/Wheldon regime for aggressive secondary progressive MS in June 2007, after four years, three of which intermittent.   Still improving bit by bit and no relapses since finishing treatment.

I have an additional question... i took NAC when starting the abx and I think broke the biofilms but now I’m doing the herbs do I need to take it again? I’d rather not as have sulphur issues

Diagnosed RRMS 1999. No DMDs or other meds. Have done TMJ correction, Candida protocol, CCSVI venoplasty procedure.

I guess that has to be up to you, i’d consider waiting a while, at least. NAC made me feel so ill, horribly exhausted so I stopped using it, maybe i’ll use it in the future, but, that isn’t guaranteed.

Jane

MS symptoms from 2001, DX RRMS in 2008, following, a change of hospital who sent me for an MRI, precipitated by some sight loss. Took Interferons, on and off. Prescribed  chemo infusions to slow pro

Tufty and Jane, I never took it until I was intermittent protocol and still take it now at lower doses to guard against reinfection. If there is something in the Buhner protocol to do that, then no need to take it, otherwise, maybe do as I do!
