Summer biotin.

We have just gone through what ended up the hottest summer in lots of years, and quite unexpectedly I went through it comparatively easily! Only two years ago, our one short but very hot patch gave me heatstroke, but this year, nothing like that. What both David and I put it down to is the continued high dose biotin, so I hope everyone else is still taking it.

For newcomers, I finished taking cap antibiotics ten years previously but all this while improvements have continued, bit by bit.
Completed Stratton/Wheldon regime for aggressive secondary progressive MS in June 2007, after four years, three of which intermittent.   Still improving bit by bit and no relapses since finishing treatment.

Hey ... 🤓 I was on a very high dose of biotin. A couple of months ago, I developed an ingrowing toe nail on my big toe which went septic. I had it reaffirmed that GPs know very little about antibiotics and just take a guess. Even though I had a swab taken, the path labs didn't bother doing an antibiotic susceptibility test. I certainly felt like I had bacteraemia. I even ended up on a ground in the car park outside the doctor's surgery. ````````````` 🤕 ````````````` Anyway, because of this, I stopped taking biotin. Perhaps I won't need to have my hair cut quite as often either. `````````````` 🧓 `````````````` I know of one lady that has MS who started taking biotin. It really did help her in some respects. `````````````` ☺️ ````````````` To anybody that is thinking of taking biotin, aquaint youself with the difference between a milligram (mg) and a microgram (mcg). It takes 1000 micrograms just to make one milligram. In the French experiment with biotin, the majority of patients were receiving 300mg. ```````````````` 😲 ````````````````` G.
