Man that should be one hell of a flush experience. Seriously I do not know the answer but have ridden out several very red faced flushes with much smaller dosage.
Start low low and work yourself up. Given the reaction ive had to much lower dosages i wouldnt be suprised if doing that much to start with could harm you. I dont use it anymore but i think i started out at around 50 mg or possibly 100 mg and that would turn me bright red all over my body.
Treating PPMSi with Azithromycin 250 mg every other day, Doxyi 100 mg BiDi, Coconut oil 4 times daily, five flagyli pulses. Been sick since June 2009. Having good success and very few symptoms.
LOL yeah it was the worst flush i ever had. but i'm still alive so i guess i answered my own Q. but what i found that helps alot is a shower when the water is hitting the skin it doesn't burn but my hot water ran out so i had to deal with it anyway for a couple of hours
It's used for clearing immunei cells where the other abxi seem less effective (if at all), an alternative to isoniazid (INHi, which is more effective than niacini/B3).
I'm a bit surprised it isn't mentioned more (so not surprised some have missed it); have been fooling around with 500mg each night during the last few pulses, but decided to up the bet against the Cpni after the last pulse had worn off. First 1g every night, nighttime nausea and then symptoms increase similar to pulsing, needing moppers. Increased energy after reactions cleared, so then upped to 1g bidi (30min after abxi), another little bout symptoms etc., and then more energy. Now pulsing with it, and seems to get more "bite" from the tinii this time.
Had some tests on Mon: no liver issues (ALT and AST about 60% of upper lim), but some neutropeniai. Not surprising, as it has been mentioned as a result of clearing immune cells.I e it seems to work, both as per tests as well as increased energy/well-being.
But only use straight, instant release B3, Norman's experience and discussion of slower release and potential liver issues:
David tried some a while ago but it gave him a permanent red nose so I suggested that he stop...............Sarah

Niacinamide is known for not causing flushing, but I suspect it also doesn't have the same benefits for us as Niacin.

According to wikipedia, ibuprofen or aspirin can mitigate the flushing:
