Whoa! You started with 10,000 iu of Vitamin D3? That might be driving some of your numbers wild. Unless you've worked up to that over time, I'd say, back off the D3 a little. Or a lot. ;-)
As for blood pressure, it'll probably vary a bit, now that you're killing off some of the infection. It should be cleaning out your arteries, but that will cause inflammationi in the short run.
I know mine went up a little, which alarmed me because I've always been around 110 over 78. It was in the 135 range and I got worried. My doctor was unconcerned, so I waited it out and it dropped again.

Please get a blood test for vitamin Di. Most of us need more than we expect. You need to raise your blood level of D above 60 ng/ml.
Can't know your levels if you don't get the test.
Also, please make sure you are taking a lot of vitamin C. I take about 10-12 grams a day. Chronic infectionsi just burn C up quickly. It will also neutralize toxins from bacterial die off .
Hope this helps,

Danp, Just so we're clear, Raven and I are on the same page regarding vitamin Di levels. You'll need to get your levels up. But, you have to work up to it (as with most things) slowly. Don't rush it; ease your levels upward.

You might have a genetic predisposition against proper absorption or conversion, or maybe the disease affects it. 21 is way low, though. I think most of us are looking for something 70-90. Still, ratchet up over weeks or months, because people can have serious reactions when suddenly moving up to high doses.

Hi Dan, Go to the forum link at the side of this page. There you will find the headings under which people submit their topics. There is an entire section regarding research on Vitamin Di. This has been compiled by a member called Red. At my initial testing I had a Vit D3 of 22 (USAmeasurement units, Other parts of the world express on a different but corresponding scale).
It is amazingly hard to get enough natural Vit D the year round or if you cannot access the sun in the summer at the high point of in the sky. 5 years ago this was leading edge now even the everyday medical establishment is becoming interested in Vit D again beyond the prevention of Rickets.
I get my level somewhere between 80 and 100. Once it got up to 140 because I changed brands from oil based to dry powder form and my absorption was better. My doc suggested the oil and I stayed with it and try as I might I could not get my level above 50. Then I changed to the dry and good thing that I tested as my absorption increased finally and I over shot for a brief period of time.
There are links in some of those posts to low cost vit D testing that does not need a doc and is also self pay but reasonable.
A metronidazole (flagyl) pulse is part of the antibiotic protocol. While we take doxycycline and azithromycin all the time, for five days out of every twenty-eight days we also take metronidazole (or tinidazole).
Now, what authority claims more than 10,000iu of vitamin D3 causes cancer? (Since I take 14,000iu/daily, I'm amused by this.)

High doses of vitamin Di wouldn't cause cancer in people who are taking high doses to correct a deficiency. That's why the blood test is important.
danp, cpni probably isn't affecting your ability to absorb or process vitamin D. it is much more likely that cpn went chronic in your body because you couldn't maintain healthy levels in the first place. For me, it is a genetic deficiency. I am not sure about most on this forum, however.
Started CAPi for Cpni on 11/14/10 -Doxyi, NACi, Azith, Flagyli, T3, Ursidiol, St Johns Wort, B-complex, B12, Folic Acidi, Vit C, Vit D3 (12,000/day), Vit E, Astragalus, Chlorella, Lauricidin, Creatine, Alpha Lipoic Acidi, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Liposomal Vit C
I can sympathise with the severe insomnia. Have you tried melatonini? (not the homeopathic dose, in aus we get prescription dose and it's a compound liquid). It certainly hasn't cured my insomnia but I at least get 5-6 hours most nights instead of 3. I take approx. 0.9mls half hr before bed. It's a hormone produced by the body which is apparently low in autoimmune conditions. I find it really helpful.

After 10000 IU daily my Vit D level is at 50 now from 21. However, CPNi IGGi titiers remain high and same as two months ago. Why is this? How long does it take for the titers to go down after ABXi treatment has begun?

Ok...will drop Vit D to 5000. What about cholesteroli....I think it goes up initially and it should drop right? thanks

Thanks to both of you...let me check the levels right away.
Five years back it was 21.....below the normal....i do not know now.
Do you think CPNi bacteria turned off the receptors so that Vit D is not absorbed by the system....why is it low anyway...reasons?

Thanks to all. Yes, the USA range is 30-100...mine is way low....
I think if i bump it to around 80, my problems should reduce....
How to bump it if the body cannot absorb...is there a sublingual one
DanP, How many IUs were you taking for the period of 3 months prior to that blood test that was on the very low side.
There is a sublingual one however just because you were low does not mean that you cannot absorb it.
What do you mean that if you bump it to around 80 my problems (which problems) should reduce?
Hi I was never on Vit D before I tested...it was low. Problems, autoimmune thyroid, vit patches etc.
I will take blood test next week and let you know...if it worked.
I just learned that taking large doses more than 10000 iu may cause cancer....is that true?
If it is still low...will go for the sublingual
Can anybody explain what is Metriondazone Pulse?
how should I use it...thanks

I was listening to Andrew Weil's CD while travelling in my friend's car. Will find out more about that..regarding toxicity of Vit D
How much Metrondiazole should I take for those 5 days?
Thanks

The major problem I have is severe Insomnia....can sleep only about 2 hours or 3 hours.
I do not know why.....Michael Jackson had the same issue. He had white patches I do too.
I have high thyroid, HHV6, CMV, Mycoplasma pneumonia antibodies....
I gave blood test this week...will post the results...after about 1.5 on CAPi
