Thank you Red,

Bless you for all that you do  for us who are suffering.

There are plenty of times when I am ready to give up but you keep us going.....

Thanks Red a really good read, just copied this to hand carry to my MD next week.  Do you have a link to a site with a conversion factor in the expression of the 25 (OH) D level units from one system of reporting to the other?

I understand that there are two scales and this article is from a French source and uses the scale more common in the EU (Europe).  My tests are expressed in the form as reported usually in the US.

We have had this conversation before and a good professional conversion factor from a reliable source could help sort out any confusion that readers here may have.

You are really on top of the latest breaking publications in this line of research thanks for logging it in the archives here!   Louise

Hi Louise & Lou Lou,

You're welcome.   Glad to hear you find this helpful!

Louise, per the following, "The conversion factor to SI units is: 1 ng/mL = 2.496 nmol/L", in other words divide the nmol/L figures in the attached article by roughly 2.5 and Bob's your uncle, you have ng/mL (which we Americans feel much more comfortable with):
