Mom's Making Great Progress

Submitted by raven on Sun, 2009-12-06 17:46

I am happy to report that my Mom is making great progress. We had a three-way phone consult with her doctor last week. Her heavy metals challenge was very high in lead--about average in the other metals. She did 2 weeks of OSR after the challenge and had to quit because of some detox side effects. She will resume taking it but only twice a week. She reports a drop in pain levels from an 8 to a 2 and a surge of energy. Her doctor says she is tracking well and by his estimate mentally much sharper by about 50%. Dr. P. is very pleased.

At Thanksgiving I saw for myself. She is standing straighter and walking with faster and more ease. She does not have to use her walker any more. Her skin color is back  and she has lost about 15lbs. She is sleeping well. She still has some aches and pains but I expect that to improve. We have only been working on her problems since the end of July. The gallstones removal freed up her bile flow and liver is much healthier.

She is taking Lauricidin instead of Valtrex for the EBV at this point. Also T3 @15mcgs twice a day, Iodoral, Methyl B12 shots and all the supplements. I believe the OSR is responsible for the energy surge as I have also experienced this when taking it.

Can't believe the great progress she is making. Dad would be very happy.

This is wonderful news although I feel iike i'm entering in the middle of the movie -- first I've heard about your mother. What is OSR?

Thanks Raven for sharing this update.  I looked back a bit but could not find the details regarding, "The gallstones removal freed up her bile flow and liver is much healthier."    Did she have a procedure somewhere along the course of all this?

I will be discsussing the possibility of taking Laricidin with my provider this week, it is good to know that your mom is doing OK with taking it.  Louise

I thought I had blogged about it before. Hmmm, maybe it's in here somewhere. OSR is a sulphur compound that raises glutathione levels. When they are raised, heavy metals are released from the body so you have to get through the detox period to get to the point where there are no longer any bad side effects and then you feel the increase in energy. I no longer have any nasty detox symptoms when I take it but beware as it can really kick you in the rear at first use. You also need to control yeast as sulphur feeds yeast. The Lauricidin has been doing a nice job of that for me.

You have to get your doctor to order it for you as they are only selling to health professionals at this point.

Nancy, might be worth a try for you to help with energy but like I said, you have to get through the detox period before that happens. Removing heavy metals would also help your recovery overall.

Very nice to hear all those... What's your mom's diagnosis Raven and does she takes any antibiotic against CPN?

Raven,

Thank you for sharing this great news about your mom. I have just started taking the monalaurin myself and the die off is proof of it's reputation. My next step will also be the OSR for heavy metal toxicity. It is wonderful to know how well your moms treatment is coming along.

Raven, is a sulphur drug the same as a sulfa drug, because I am allergic to the latter?

Mom was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and some osteoarthritis. She had a lot of very painful trigger points. Her tests were negative for Cpn and showing active infection with EBV. This is why her immune system is so low--she was catching every bug she encountered. I am still skeptical about the Cpn negative as I think my Dad was infected with it but we shall see. From what I have read, Lauricidin has effectiveness against Cpn as well as viruses.

I don't know if sulfa drugs have sulphur in them. Maybe do a look up on Google. To counter the effect it has on yeast, I take OSR with molybdenum picolinate. And lots of vitamin C too. I also noticed taking Lauricidin has dampened yeast flareups.

I am seeing much more of the Big Picture at this point. Addressing heavy metals load is key to fighting these chronic infections. This is just my experience but I believe it is working. I am astounded at the progress Mom is making.

BTW, we had a big storm from Canada hit yesterday and all the mountains and foothills are dusted with snow. What a sight this morning driving to work. It was 40º F when I left the house. How's that for sunny S. Calif--last week it was in the '70s and I was wearing sandals. This morning I was digging for my long johns!!!
