The Lyme Diet: Nutritional Strategies for Healing from Lyme Disease by Nicola McFadzean ND

The Lyme Diet: Nutritional Strategies for Healing from Lyme Disease by Nicola McFadzean ND   Has anyone seen this book and taken a look at it?

ILADS now considers C.Pn. a co-infection.  I would argue that it is the other way around but hey, with the list of nutritional supplements that we are advised to consider taking, both of these diseases are chronic, degenerative intracellular and difficult to treat as they demand long term treatment once the acute initial infective stages have transitioned to chronic life long degenerative illnesses we need to consider our diet as part of our personal health supportive treatment plan.

Here is her bio from the listing on for her book, you can google it there.

Louise, How is her diet different than say paleo or McDougal? Since it treats Lyme how is it different from diets that are sometimes helpful for MS patients?

Hi there,

I'm very interested in diet so I googled this book and here is what I found.

The book covers anti-inflammatory foods, gluten-free foods, foods low in mercury, and foods low on the glycemic index.  Dr. Nicola explains why eliminating dairy products and foods containing sugar is essential.
