Looking for doctor in UK

Hello everyone!

this site seems to be a real eye opener.

I'm 32 year old male, non smoker.

About 2 years ago, after having a minor cold and cough affair and tender lymphnodes, unexpected tiredness and just generally feeling blue for few months my doctor in Lithuania recommended having a lung X-ray. My lungs looked darker than normal, she reccomened taking tests for Mycoplasma pneumoniae and Chlamydia pneumoniae. Tests were positive for both. Afterwards she prescribed a 3 day course of Klerimed(Clarithromycinum 500mg, 1X2). And she suggested that Chlamydia pneumoniae could have evolved from the sexually transmitted Chlamydia trachomatis, even though neither me or my wife had any symptoms of it. I tried to establish that connection but was not able to find any material.

The treatment did not seem to help much, some time later I started feeling pain in my joints especially in fingers and lymphnodes were still tender most of the time.

I decided to consult microbiologist in Lithuania as well, afterwards she prescribed 12 day treatment of Fromilid(Clarithromycinum 500mg, twice daily) after the treatment I could feel a slight improvement but couple of weeks later all the symptoms returned.

I went to see my GP in London, she sent me for rheumatoid tests. The tests came back negative but my pain in joints continued. When I came back for consultation, she reccomended I take Ibuprofen and that's about it. For some reason I do not believe that would solve my problems.

Could someone recommend a doctor in London or anywhere in UK who have prescribed the protocols in the past?

I would really appreciate it.

Best regards,

Maybe it actually did, once in the distant past. But really that's about like suggesting that maybe the rat problem in your house is due to field mice that came in for shelter from the winter and evolved into rats.
