Interesting Article: FIR therapy improves Allergic Rhinitis

Another intesting article on the benefits of FIR therapy for allergic rhinitis:

Comments

I am so looking forward to my smell impairment to improve! Once in awhile I can actually taste my food. I find it curious that only certain smells are completely undetectable for me whereas others quite strong. The FIR therapy appears to be quite beneficial for numerous health issues. Thanks again for sharing this Red.  Slainte.  MM

You are very thoughtful Corinna. Thank you for the link. I watched the vid. It indicates it is useful for allergies. However, I was tested and do not have allergies. My rhinisitis was deemed as resulting from hormone changes, barometer or environment. I was not satisfied with that answer but when I found out about Cpn I figured it was from it. So not understanding maybe the difference.... would this product work if you don't have allergies or you don't know??  Slainte. MM

Hi Miying Meng,

The principle of low level light therapy is that it acts as an anti-inflammatory and promotes healing by activating the bodies own beneficial systems. Depending on the unit, it is also a fast acting pain reliever. The explanation on that site is very narrow. I wholeheartedly recommend that you try it, it may work very well for you. I hope it does, because it did wonders for me.

Please check out this page, it's full of links to clinical research on RLT/LLLT.

I use low level light therapy for many different things: it has been so effective and beneficial for me that I have had custom units made by TheLEDMAN.net for different uses and areas of the body; I've also got a small battery operated device that's all red (660nm) which I carry in my purse to use when my facial pain or skin flares up; the Warp10, which is for nerve and other types of pain, is the only thing that has ever stopped the pain of a Trigeminal Neuralgia attack (this device has the most literature attached to it, this company pioneered the technology for NASA, I recommend you checking out this site if no others), because of the Warp10 I was able to completely stop taking Gabapentin after years of mostly ineffective treatment; then there is a Tanda handheld that I keep at my bedside and use on my rosacea skin or on bruised tissue (it heals bruises 4+ times faster) and it stops any burning I get from using the topical metronidazole cream on my face; I've got a red/NIR (660/880nm) DPL unit that I use on arthritic and achey/painful areas (I bought it from Elixa.com), which works so well I gifted one to an older couple down the road who are struggling with comfort; also purchased from Elixa is the Lightworks unit which employs a much more flexible handheld paddle and has a head with 660nm (red) LEDs on one side and 880nm (NIR) LEDs on the other -- it employs nogier frequencies (my preference for deep pain is "E"); back when my rosacea was at its worst, I invested in a professional unit, which has interchangeable all 660nm (red) and 660nm/880nm (red/near infrared) ventillated panels, it has also worked on intractable eczematous legions and rashes; and, finally, I use a small handheld red/yellow (660/580nm) unit, from LEDMAN, on my eyes when my occular rosacea is acting up, or when my eyes are just plain bothering me.

WOW!  LOL .... you shared a lot of information. This is wonderful! Thanks! I can't read for long right now as my right eye is burning/aching. But I will work on it a little at a time. You are incredible Corinna! You found some neat ways to find relief and heal without the drugs. Love it!  MM

I've got my fingers crossed for you. If you have any questions just PM me -- Red knows tons on this subject too (much more than me).

Best wishes!
