I have CFIDS & with that Irritable Bowel, I was wondering if anyone has anything that helps with noxious gas. Phew weeeee, I may poison my poor husband in his sleep with this stuff in addition to the paint coming off the walls. I did a search but nothing specific came up??? Soo far, my bestest buddy, our Irish Terrier Stanley hasn't left the room, lolhelp!!!!, Gasious Clay CAPricornblessingsRuth

Are you taking your probiotics? That should help stabilize the bowel flora. ALso check to see if your versio of probiotics has FOS (fructo-oligo-saccharides) in them. These saccharides feed the good bacteria of the gut - this results in gas as the little fellers get busy. With time apparently one will adjust to the FOS in their probiotics but I bailed and got some without the FOS.
There is an old thread HERE on the probiotics issue

Marie you are wise to be wary of FOS as studies have shown that they can feed bad bacteria as well as the good ones

It may be OK to take these if you don't have any dysbiosis or IBS symptoms before starting on antibiotics but for anyone else it could be that probiotics alone will be more suitable.
