MediTest
After 14 months of sinus issues ( head pressure around the eye and sinus that effects my vision and thinking) that have progressed to fatigue and secondary polycythemia and high liver enzymes. The NHS has sent me to every consultant with no diagnosis so I sent off for test with Armin labs as I had suspected lyme due to a tick bite weeks before my initial symptoms. my result have come back with a weak positive for CPN. Now I have been to my gp with this and he claims a month of doxy will have cured me and Ive just got post viral fatigue and not to push for any further treatment or retest (he was aslo skeptical to the test climing a weak positive is inconclusive). so pretty much told ill just get better, my underestanding form the info on this site this is not the case. I feel like i have just been getting worse and when I look back I have responded to the antibiotics that are perscribed for CPN. So I have started on nac and seam to have reacted with a difference in my sinus pressure and a little sore throat. now its still early days and I was wondering if anyone has any advice for treatment in the uk. Im currently looking in to herbs as they seam more accessable. Any advice would be apriciated thanks

bernf, I started my treatment back in 2003 and you would think that the world would have progressed somewhat since then, but not a bit of it! In fact, the word 'antibiotics' now seems to be a dirty word and C pn is still something that can be cured within the week: well, some doctors have not even heard of it!

I took the liberty of making another post alerting people who know something about herbal treatment, because I think the man who has treated himself solely with herbs, for his MS is on holiday at the moment, and I didn't want you to think that you were just being ignored.

Completed Stratton/Wheldon regime for aggressive secondary progressive MS in June 2007, after four years, three of which intermittent.   Still improving bit by bit and no relapses since finishing treatment.

Hi there.... I am indeed on holidays but I will once I return in one week post a little help to you about my journey and treatment. Hang in there Regards D

The Greatest Risk of all is Not taking the Risk...

Thanks for your help, my GP didn't initially know there was a difference in chlamydias he claims he spoke to a lab since although I'm not too sure on that as his advice didn't change. for now Ive ordered the herbs for the Buhner protocol to start with

I would get Buhners book "Healing Lyme 2nd edition". Besides Lyme there is also a protocol for Cpn in his book. As I've heard (is it a myth?) in the UK you have quite good herbal doctors? I use Buhner protocol together with antibiotics.

Thank you Markus83, I got that book and have ordered the protocol in it, Iv ordered from home herbs biovea as well as amazon so currently just waiting for it all to arrive. I did start Andrographis capsules over the week and had a day of excessive sweating and today Ive had a fever and my sinus pressure feels different so seams promising

Hi I’m interested in trying the buhner herbs too and will also order the book. Thanks for posting this info
