I'm on Bicillian shot once a week, then I'm taking Zithromax daily

Hi All, I'm taking Bicillian a form of penicillin once a week, a shot in my butt, because Doxyi and Cednifer were making me go to the bathroom 20 times a day. Then my night sweats didn't stop and we added in the Zithromax. Is this a good start to the protocol? I've printed off the protocol sheet and will give to my Lyme Doctor next month, I hope he's on board. Started Billcin shots 7 weeks ago, Zithromax just about two weeks ago. I'm feeling better. I take CELLFOOD and I truly believe this has helped a great deal! Please share your thoughts with me on my antibioticsi I'm taking right now.

Hi,you have lyme. Do you

Hi,

you have lyme. Do you know that lymenet.org is a great place for your lyme qustions.

I think lyme and cpni are often together, just not diagnosed.

Did the zithromax help you for cpn? I have trouble with minoi and would probably switch to zithromax.

Better in two weeks? Where do you buy the cellfood?

Hi

Hi iwillgetbetter

Well, the protocol we follow here is for treating Chlamydia Pneumonia (Cpni), not Lyme specifically.  My doctor has told me that it's effective against Lyme also but the reason for the protocol using multiple antibiotics (abxi) is to prevent resistance from emerging.  I'm sure that Lyme probably needs the same sort of approach but it may be that a different combination would be more effective for Lyme.  Many people here are also treating Lyme but the often also have Cpn.

The night sweats you were having are a good sign that you do have a Cpn infection and you're taking care of it.  The Doxyi alone is only the first step.  You need to get on a macrolide such as Azithromycin or Clarithromycin simultaneously.

Both of those abxi only address the Reticulating Body (RB) stage of Cpn so you should be using another antibiotic or supplement that addresses the Elementary Body (EBi) stage, and the Cryptic Body (CB) stage of the bacteria.  Otherwise, it's unlikely you'll get rid of it anytime soon.

The EB stage is killed by amoxicillini several times a day or by N-acetyl Cysteine (NACi).  NAC is liver protective so many people, myself included, prefer to start off with that and continue using it throughout the entire treatment process.  I and others plan to continue using it even after the treatment process is over.  I've been using amoxicillin also since last summer but I take a lot more NAC over the course of the day.

The CB stage is killed by either metornidazole (Flagyli) or tinidazole (Tini).  I've taken 40 pulses of Flagyl and recently switched to using it semi-daily, having worked up to 3 days/week so far.  Another user here takes it twice/day but she is far ahead of me in terms of treatment, probably about 2 years ahead, maybe more.

Anyway, k23la's suggestion to post Lyme questions on Lymenet isn't a bad one but there are a few people here who might be able to answer questions about it.  You may have to wait or you might be better off finding out who knows about it and sending them a private message.
