Hi Linda, Watching that WalkAide video really struck a chord with Steve. He talked about it all the way on our ride in to work this morning. He especially identified with the lady's description of conscious internal instruction to her leg and foot while walking and how much energy is drained away in just walking and all the mental support that goes along with it. The fact that the device has meant huge relief of her fatigue is mighty appealing to someone with huge fatigue. Right now, his hesitation is focused on the imbalance issue. The lady in the video did not appear to have much of an imbalance problem. His fear is that with the state of his balance at this time, the WalkAide just might facilitate his walking into walls better than he's walking into them now or that it might cause him to fall down more. Also, just standing around or moving around in all directions with short movements (like working in the kitchen) sometimes involves quite a lot of extraneous side to side shuffling just to maintain balance. How will the WalkAide effect that type of situation? Do you have balance problems, and what do you think about using the WalkAide with imbalance issues. Thanks,

Wiggy, Thanks. He wanted to go have a test run this morning. There are five dealer locations in the Dallas area...2 of them are convenient for us. They are open only on weekdays, and we will probably stop in at one on Tuesday afternoon. He's excited about it, and I'm excited to see him excited about anything.
