Have tested positive on IgG but not IgM

I had my result the other day come through which showed a positive for IgGi but not IgM which I guess is to be expected as I was probably infected some time in the mid 90s.  It wasn't done by PCRi so there are no numbers, it was done by immuneflorescence.

Have had a terrible time since Tuesday when I had a root canal.   The pain until today has been horrendous and I guess because its a mixture of inflammationi plus infection.  There was a large abcess full of pus which was released by the dentist which of course goes into your blood stream.

I have had to increase my steroid because the pain and stress has floored me and also have taken the Axzithro daily plus the Doxyi.  Thankfully today I have been able to halve the pain killers and just hope I have turned the corner.  I am not sure how long I should take the daily Azithro because it was meant to be my 3rd week of MWF.

I have had many episodes of severe sweating especially in the evenings and have felt truly dreadful.  Also experienced a lot of anxiety and would never have been able to sleep if not for some benzo which I wouldn't normally need.   I guess a lot of chlamydia bacteria would have been released which would partly count to my feeling so ill?

Up until Tuesday I was doing really well and even able to get up and dance on 2 evenings because I didn't want to sit still!  Cannot believe how quickly things can change and what a reminder it is of the long road ahead.

I have to go through this root canal proceedure in just over another week and will be dreading it and will ensure I take extra steroid before it as I made the mistake of not doing this.  I was soon going to start a day of Metroi but I guess I must leave it a lot longer in view of this week.

Wait for the metroi pulse til later, but make sure you take abxi daily leading up to the root canal and for at least a week (I'd say two) afterwards. Oral infectionsi can go to your heart and weaken it, so don't play around with this; take whatever the dr tells you to and don't try to cut short the course of meds.

The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the world’s problems. Mohandas Gandhi
