Finished my first 5 day pulse of metronidazole yesterday
1,500 mg of metroi/flagyl per day. It went ok. On the 3rd day I got hit w/ diarrhea bad. I actually wasn't able to take the third 500 mg dose on that third day because I by that time, I was either in bed or in the bathroom. That problem went away on day four so I finished another two days. It seemed to sap all of my energy.

I'd say fatty endotoxinsi and read about cholystyramine (or ox bile) if the amount of charcoal you are taking is not doing enough (it never did enough for me).
I'm not so sure about this CAP thing.
My headaches have been horrible the past week or so. Dizziness increased. I don't know if these antibioticsi are really working or not. I'm just so tired of being tired and in pain and dizzy and unable to think clearly.

As always, I say I am not a doctor, but from what you are experiencing, it IS working. For decades, I had extreme vertigo which was getting worse and worse. Several months ago, after weeks of "walking under water", my mental soup and my vertigo were entirely gone, but only after years of abxi. You could stop now, and you might have a few days of relative peace, then it would all come crashing beck, I think.
This is serious stuff we are doing and I will be the last to deny heartfelt empathy. But I really think most of this is in your head - not the "in-your-head" remarks told to some of us - causing those horrible headaches. Since nobody has found other causes, go for it - you are on Rifampin, which is the best "bug hunter' when combined with the others. Don't forget your supps. This thing we are doing ALWAYS exacerbates whatever is being "worked on". Eventually it will get better - but NOT overnight.

Congratulations, pc! You made it through, and I bet you can do it again and again. It took 54 or 56 pulses for me and then things began getting better. Now I can manage two flagyls every day and hardly feel it. Again, I am delighted for you.
