Hi - this is not directly a suggestion to this site... but an idea. The last days I tried to set up a German page for c. pneumoniae an a free platform. Everything went fine, it is easy to handle and looks nice. It's on http://chlamydiapneumoniae.siteboard.de/portal.htm. (currently deactivated). I wanted to link German relevant articles there and the translations from this site (I know that another German member currently translates the whole D W Paper and I made some other translation).

Wow, I have just seen the www.chlamydie.info. I think you don't need partners to become popular ;-) But.. anyway.... any ideas how I may handle my impressum and other suggestions? I suppose you all already have a local language platform?

I think it is a good idea to have a platform in your local language and I know that quite a few of our European members have done that already.   I'm not sure if I have the energy or the time to start something like that in French.   I live in the UK now and feel that UK members are well served by this website.   There are some aspects of health structures that are not the same in the UK as in the States, but those are minor enough not to be a problem.

I'm not sure what an impressum is... Is it a moderator with some special responsibilites.

Hi Michele, thx for response.
An Impressum is the name and address of the responsible person directly in the website. That means that the person is fully responsible for the website content. Since I would primarily only put links, it is not "my content", but this changes, when I start to put translations there. Websites without Impressum have to pay up to 50.000 Euro! But.. the more I read, maybe there are ways to put it in as a graphic, so that search-engines won't get it.. or anything else. You are right, british members are very well served here. Is maybe anyone else interested?
