Dr. Azenbor on Cpn and Macrophages

Here is a short article by Dr. Anthony Azenabor on his Cpn reseach. http://www4.uwm.edu/chs/faculty/1~faculty.html

I have read it over several times. I think  what he is saying about estrogen and how it influences macrophage function is that it increases it. I get the part about Cpn making the macrophage atherogenic.

Found another studies about immune activity and estrogen:

Interesting as I first became ill when my hormone levels dropped from menopause.

And what about the new drug he is researching that is said to kill Cpn outright?? http://www.graduateschool.uwm.edu/research/spectrum/snapshots/anthony-azenabor/

This article came out in 2006. Has anyone heard anything or found anything online about this drug?
