Does Oklahoma City even have Emergency Rooms?

You wouldn't know it by me.

Three days post-pulse #13 and only mild reactions (mostly slight shortness of breath during stressful parts of the negotiations and the familiar "cog fog") so far.

By the way, Oklahoma City is a real nice city.  The Murrah Building Memorial affected me more than I thought it would.  I think it was the small chairs that represented the children killed in the day care center that made it so emotional.

This is getting too easy,

This is getting too easy, HD. Surely there is some medical crisis to be had somewhere. What's a guy to do?

Nice to hear that your reactions are mild, especially on the road again.

You are just NO fun

You are just NO fun anymore! You don't even have enough apprehension about touring new ER's to post about your trips beforehand!

As for the memorial, I cannot imagine the depth of the effect of that scene in person.  Seeing just  photos and film has been pretty dramatic.  So much unfathomable pain, inflicted on so many innocents and their loved ones.

HD, What a transformation,

HD, What a transformation, like chalk and cheese.   I hope it all continues along those lines for you, no more ERs for you.   Wherever you may be.

Well, I guess I could just

Well, I guess I could just walk out in front of a train (there's an Amtrak station in the middle of downtown but the trains only run to Ft. Worth, Texas).

At the Oklahoma City

At the Oklahoma City memorial, there is a stylized "empty chair" for each of the people killed.  What so affected me was when I saw that the chairs were not all the same size, but that there were a number of smaller "chairs" mixed in which represent the children from the day care center who were killed.
