Cytokine Mediation

Here on the CAP do we have anything in our arsenal to mediate or help lessen the the Cytokine/Chemokine storm?

I always have Benicar on hand (as does Jim K I have read) if things get out of control.  I just wonder if Stratton or Wheldon have really put any necessity behind this.

Some times when I herx the Cytokine storm can become overwhelming having me reach for a benzo which is somewhat known to help with cytokines (per Cheney)

Any other suggestions or research done here on this?

I haven't used Benicar for over a year, but did find it helpful in the beginning of the CAP. Now I mostly use ibuprophen.

Well, it deals with their effects, i.e. inflammation.

I have a question: Does dealing with the post-pulse inflammation e.g. by taking ibu or benicar get rid of the "I want to crawl into a hole and die" feeling or does it just relieve the local inflammation?

The local inflammation I can live with, and actually see as a positive sign (of die off). Its the icky feeling I'd rather do without!

CFS. Started CAP 03-07.
Currently: Azithro+Roxi+Doxy. 7 Pulses done. Welchol 4xday. Sauna every other day. D 7200IU
