I am totally confused about the protocols now.

Is the doxy/azith/flagyl combo out-dated?

See the new Protocols Compared forum.

On Wheldon/Stratton protocol for Cpn in CFS/FMS since December 2004.

CAP for Cpn 11/04. Dx: 25+yrs CFS & FMS. Currently: 250 aithromycin mwf, doxycycline 100mg BID, restarted Tini pulses; Vit D2000 units, T4 & T3, 6mg Iodoral

No, not at all: David is taking it at this very moment!  All the protocols listed here are perfectly valid, so don't for heaven's sake start thinking that what you are taking might not work.  I take roxithromycin instead of azith, but they are both macrolides and basically do the same thing.  I have also swapped flagyl for tinidizole, but only because it is more easily tolerated.
Completed Stratton/Wheldon regime for aggressive secondary progressive MS in June 2007, after four years, three of which intermittent.   Still improving bit by bit and no relapses since finishing treatment.
