i see. may i know what you have been taking WHILE being on the ABx? did you do all of davids recommendations? or just the B12 and D3?
i have not tried high dose biotin yet. what are the benefits for you?

Marvel, I did take all of David's recommendations for all the time I was taking antibiotics, even when I was on intermittent, because I was recovering from what was thought to be, and still is, an incurable disease.
In 2003 I thought that my painting days were over, but since then, I have done most of my best work.
High dose biotin gave me much more strength in my arms and legs, but it takes time to work.

ok im starting my ABx today. starting with doxy and azi. thanks for everything.
i still remember how i found this website. it was under a youtube video with a ridiculous amount of views and only 1 or 2 comments. but i found it. i started browsing through the website and thought this might be it because i had the exact class of ABx before for 3 months and they worked but then i got off them because the doctor thought i had lyme and we had the impression doing it longer wont benefit me and that i would probably have to live with this disease for the rest of my life. this website here might be my remedy. not the doctors i turned to before. i was very unlucky getting this disease. maybe i will be very lucky i found this website. life is strange sometimes.

Marvel, life is strange sometimes: in 2003 I overheard my then neurologist telling David that my painting days were over. Ever since then he has received a Christmas card from me, a print of one of my most recent paintings!

Marvel - I’ve always found it best to only start one thing at a time and ensure I am tolerating that before adding anything else. Personally, I would just start doxy, and then add azith once you know you are ok with doxy. Many people find it best to take doxy with food - something substantial but not containing calcium - to avoid the nausea it can cause.
Wishing you well with you CAP journey.

thx for your help. i have taken the combination macrolide and tetracycline before and know i can take it without problems. thats why i start doxy and azi together. doxy gives me nausea like you said. i have the HCL version (theres 2). im in thailand. maybe i try getting the other version. you know if it makes any difference treatment wise meaning if its better to get one or the other?
i feel depressed today. its my 5th day. i usually dont have this. i dont know whats the reason for this. im still watching closely. i can feel the abx working already though. i know where the bacteria sit (ankles e.g.). i do the sauna MWF with azi. its a great tool.

Marvel, if you can manage to sit quietly for about an hour, it shouldn't make you feel nauseous. Difficult to do though, but at least the feeling of nausea shows that you are getting doxycycline and not a sugar pill.

No, no, Marvel, you…
No, no, Marvel, you misunderstood me; you need the antibiotics to get rid of the infection but then you add a few other things to make the best of your new found health.
For me I found the best things were David's recommended dose of B12 and somewhat more than his recommended dose of D3. Over the years I added and stopped various other things, high dose biotin being about the best.
