Title

David's MS treatment page

Body

David's website  has vanished because I wasn't quick enough in checking when  the server needed paying.  However, i have now paid the server and the site is back.

Whilst it is working  its way back in the list, the quickest way to find it is to type:

david wheldon multiple sclerosis, then in two clicks you will be there.

I can't imagine they wouldn't reinstate it with payment... do we need to put out a call for funding?

Norman, David owns the domain name, i don't and I don't know his details; i can't find them written down anywhere. I do have the site pages though, so it could be reinstated either as was or with changes. I have bought the name 'DaviIdwheldon.uk' so that could be used instead. i have also bought the space for a new site.

The registar for a domain is public information.  The one for davidwheldon.co.uk is Easyspace:

https://www.easyspace.com/

It was originally registered in 1999, and the expiration expires in December of this year, so you have plenty of time to contact them before some squatter grabs it up and uses it to sell obnoxious advertising to people who follow old links to the website, and/or tries to sell it back to you at an extortionate price.

It's still worth doing even if you already have a new site set up: you can have the old URL just redirect to it.

No worries about funding, but some donations for this site might be appreciated. The main problem at the moment are me not being David, so I can't even use the davidwheldon.uk site which I bought or pay for the new webspace because it will be in the wrong name! So I must try to get them to transfer the name to me.  Otherwise we will have to wait until December.

I might be able to post a few PDFs on here, though.

Fair enough because I wouldn't like it if someone started posting their paintings under my name, which is why I  own all the serious sarahlonglands website names.  I did this when the prices came down a lot!

Norman, we are both with Easyspace but registered at slightly different times. I am attempting to claim ownership of David's name, but if they won't oblige, I will be first in the queue come December!

Easyspace are going to put David's site back up, having run out in April. I have to pay them first of course, but my new card should be here by tomorrow.

Damned post, if my card doesn't come today, I will scream!

If you type in David's name and multiple sclerosis you will go nearly straight there!

It will take a while to work back up the lists!
