Sarah, here are the attachments Dr. Stratton sent. I want to know thoughts before I start the additional supplements as I have been sticking fairly closely to David's protocol - the additions would include Taurine, DMG, TMG, and choline Bitartrate. Dr. Stratton stated "I have attached a vitamin and supplement regimen that will help persons with chlamydial infections. It will help get rid of Chlamyida and prevent reactivation/reinfection. The key supplements are DMG and Taurine. See attached white papers. Go slowly at first as there might be “die off”. Thank you, Trish

Yes I am. I’m in the US. He replied to an email I sent him recently. The one article looks to be older. Trish

2003 Asthma diagnosis - 2004 took doxycycline per Dr. David Hahn work - asthma free. 2014 developed upper body myalgia/arthritis and asthma returned. Dec 2015 c pneumonia bloodwork IGG titer 1:512. Took 6 months of doxy for asthma flare up - again asthma gone but myalgia stayed. Dec 2017, extreme fatigue started. Emailed Dr. Wheldon. Research on cpnhelp.org - Jan 2, 2018 started Wheldon protocol.

Trish, these are the same documents that David was sent by Stratton. Today he started on taurine and wants me to take some later. Since it apparently is tasteless, I probably will.

You have reduced my list a bit, thank you!

Completed Stratton/Wheldon regime for aggressive secondary progressive MS in June 2007, after four years, three of which intermittent.   Still improving bit by bit and no relapses since finishing treatment.

Ok good! I’ve got all 4. I will start the Taurine with you then. Q1. Can I take the Taurine with my anabiotic‘s or with the minerals? Q2. Is it 500 mg twice a day or 1000 mg twice a day? Q3. Do I still take all the other supplements too? The ones from David’s list. Also, let me know about the other 3... DMG, TMG, and the choline bitartrate please:-) Trish

I'll find out tomorrow!

Remember when I posted this email I received from the person helping Stratton develop a website for doctors on cpn? Hi Trish! So, a shot in the dark here. Today I mailed a $750 check (my own money) to UMASS to Dr Wilmore Webley to contribute to a study looking at the effect of DMG (amino acid) on chlamydia pneumoniae in vitro (test tube). There is good reason to believe this readily available vitamin kills CpN, but we want to prove it. The study will only cost $1500, just literally the supplies, and Dr. Stratton and Webley will write up a paper with the results. If you feel compelled to help fund this please let me know and I’ll send you the donation paperwork for UMASS. No pressure. I hope you’re feeling well. Gratefully, Nikki Nikki Schultek Principal and Founder Nikki@intracellresearchgroup.com www.intracellresearchgroup.com (201)805-5423 It appears that study showed DMG was effective! I’d like to see the written study!

Trish, looking through the stuff Stratton sent to David, you can take taurine with both abx and minerals. It is something we make ourselves in our own bodies, although, as with CoQ10, we tend to produce less as we get older. The recommended dose is 2000 mg a day, Stratton recommends dividing it in two amounts of 1000 mg. Let's both see what happens!

The other three supplements all sound interesting but, not being in desperate need to find something to make me better, II will stick to trying on thing at a time.  I must say that taurine sounds the most interesting for me, because we found this: https://medicalxpress.com/news/2017-12-taurine-cells-multiple-sclerosis.html  So taurine could maybe be another thing I could use along with biotin to improve my recovery from MS.

OK thank you for the link and info Sarah. Will you be posting more on the information? It sounds like Stratton sent you slightly more yesterday then he sent me. I’d like to read it. I will also go to the link! Sounds like I will be a guinea pig :-) I am desperate to get well! Trish

Trish, I doubt if Stratton did send us any more information than he sent you, I'll have to check. The taurine and multiple sclerosis link was something I found on the internet and made me decide to try taurine along with David.

I think we are all guinea pigs here, but sooner that than wasting years of your life waiting for the perfect cure to be dropped in your lap!

So true. Well I started the taurine. I was waiting until tomorrow (finishing pulse today) to start the others. Trish

I'd be interested in any changes anyone sees with the Taurine. I believe I'd like to try adding it in at some point, once I get over my current rough patch (stupidly tried some fasting and had some good effects, but along with reintroducing NAC also triggered some horrible symptoms, which I am only now attributing to this whole "porphyria" thing).

Chronic sinusitis, more recently noticed neurological and cognitive problems. Gotten more severe.
CPn, mold exposure.

I started the 4 new ones at half doses so far. I am experiencing more brain fog or memory issues this past week but that’s the only symptom I’ve noticed. Still a significant side effect. I’m trying to ride it out. Will report back again! Trish
