Buhner Cpn Protocol Success Stories

I would like to share with everyone my treatment success story in the hopes that it can help many of you. I used the cpn protocol found in Buhner's Healing Lyme (2015 edition) I followed it closely while taking plenty of binders/detox and have been able to reverse my cpn. I now test negative. Prior to the protocol I followed a strict AIP diet and replaced all personal care and home care products with natural non-toxic alternatives. I continue to follow both of those practices. I used the Buhner protocol for 3 months to clear my infection. Some may need to go longer or take maintenance doses. I worked with an herbalist (Buhner's partner) for guidance. I started each herb one at a time in half doses and worked up to full dose before adding the next herb. Once all herbs were onboard, I considered that day as day #1 of treatment. Herxing is to be avoided - it means too high a dose or not enough binders/detox. After 3 months of treatment my cpn numbers came down and are now negative. I'm thrilled with my results and hopeful that my testimony will encourage some of you to give this approach a try. For those of you who believe antibiotics are the only way, I am proof that herbals are powerful and effective.

Well done!! But can I just add something! Three months taking herbs and getting rid of CPn is not enough time no matter what the levels say! You may want to consider after a month repeating this protocol again and also taking NAC also along with the important supplements. Regards D

The Greatest Risk of all is Not taking the Risk...

Darren is absolutely right here, Calikate: however treat C pn, for an intracellular pathogen, three months is not enough. It might not be pulsing around in your bloodstream, but it is likely to be biding it's time in some cell somewhere. This is why it is such a difficult pathogen to treat. Well done that you feel do much better after three months, but be prepared to carry on the attack.
Completed Stratton/Wheldon regime for aggressive secondary progressive MS in June 2007, after four years, three of which intermittent.   Still improving bit by bit and no relapses since finishing treatment.

Calikate! Really interesting... what are the herbs based on? Just a matter of curiosity... are them antibacterial herbs cooked? Or infused? I feel as adding science to popular whitchery. ;)

In the german Chlamydia Forum there are several people with successful treatment with Buhners protocol as well, so I am focussing on this treatment as well. Especially on Scutellaria Baicalensis, Berberine-containing plants and salvia miltiorrhiza. Which herbs do think were most important at your treatment? At which of them did you felt the most? In which form did you took the herbs? Which in tincture/powder? And at which dosage? The dosage out of the book? Best Regards Johnny

Yes, I can say the Buhner herbs work for Cpn. They do that by sabotaging the ability of the organism to live in the cells. They then die. This is a different approach than killing it outright with antibiotics. That being said, reducing load takes a few months on and keeping it down means going back on after a few months. I believe we can never get rid of it.
I stopped antibiotics in Jan of 2011. By summer 2016, I was seeing signs of rising infection levels. I started the Buhner herbs that summer and immediately began to see some positive results. I’m currently doing a month of herbs every two to three months to keep levels down.

Order the herbs from the sources he recommends and start slow. Getting too aggressive too fast is not good. Remember to take probiotics as herbs can also kill off gut bacteria.

I would like to share my experience with both Buhner's Cpn and Lyme protocol - I have CFS. Both protocols were a failure for me, I gave each protocol 4 months while on a Paleo diet - no herxing, reactions or improvement of any kind. My disabling CFS symptoms remain - I was very disappointed. In contrast I am on the Zhang lyme protocol with severe herxing and slight neurological improvement.
