I started my 4th pulse Sunday morning. In the past month my fatigue got worse again and I started to get muscle and nerve pain in my hips and legs. My lower back and my knees seem to be the worst. That is aside from my thumb joints which a slight bump feels like I am breaking them. Walking up stairs or trying to sit or get up off the floor is painful. I didn’t have that before. Although the best way I can think to describe it, is I feel like the Tin Man without an oil can. I feel and look like I am elderly lately.

On Sunday, I started to feel like I was catching a cold which I did! It’s frustrating because I just had one in mid April. By yesterday afternoon I was home on the couch for the remainder of the day and today. It’s horrid to be sick on top of sick! After rereading Sarah’s Story on Dr. Wheldon’s site, I am wondering now if I am experiencing Cytokine storms?

At any rate, feeling totally defeated, I spent the better part of this afternoon reading other people’s Blogs. For those of you who have gone before...THANK YOU for taking the time to write your journey down and for pushing through it. Your stories are so very helpful.

If you think of these issues as the abx addressing cpn pockets, it's easier to get through them.  As Rica (Katman) says, things are 'being worked on'.  That's a good thing.

The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the world’s problems. Mohandas Gandhi

Yes, that does help:-) Thank you Mac!

Just an update on this pulse. Whatever bug I caught was horrid! I had severe nasal congestion, zero energy, pain all over my body, coughing spells (I had to dig out an old inhaler), and was on the couch the majority of the week. By Friday I was tempted to stop the pulse because of the pain and weakness. Friday afternoon, I started to feel glimpses of health. Today, I feel better than I have in a month! I am so understanding what others wrote about! Holy cow is this a battle!
