Why can't I still not paste text into the main body

Why on earth is it still not possible to paste in text into this box? It may be possible perhaps on a PC but it's certainly not possible on my Android phone. This is a real pain.

Glenn, I can't make my Huawei do it either, but then I can't make it do it on any site I use, but luckily I mainly use my PC.

I've made the recent content block show old posts that have been recently commented on. This should solve your problem although now all items in the recent content block are repeated in the recent comments.

Kent will maybe put it back now, Boadicea, since that seems to be the way things happen! It was certainly a useful thing to have.

The make of phone doesn't matter.
Agh Sarah, you followed me and bought Huawei. I moved on from that last Autumn and got a OnePlus 5T. Either way, I use my phone for everything. The make doesn't really matter; it's Android and they all function the same. I write emails and copy and paste everywhere. I always have. I can't do it here at the moment.
When I first came to this site back in 2013, I was still managing to work bloody hard. Sometimes I would be standing on top of a lift (elevator) several floors up ... and would post comments live on these pages. That was using my phone.
Copy & paste is the most basic essential utility. I used to always use it up until the recent site "Upgrade" ? Come on, let's get it sorted.
