clarification on CPN treatment

I'm about to start CAPi treatment and a bit nervous - I've never taken so much antibiotic, different pills, etc for so long!  Though I read so many pages and comments, I'm concerned I may mix up treatment and make it less effective.  Can someone please help to confirm I got it all right:

- start with Doxycyccline (100mg x 2 times every day) OR Amoxicillin / 500 mg x 2 times every day)

- add any of Azithromycin OR Clarithromycin OR Roxithromycin (500mg x2 times every day)

- then add Metronidazole (Flagyl) (500 mg 3 times a day) 5 days each month

- plus take NAC (N-acetyl cysteine) (1200 x 2 times a day) all the time

Did I understand it correclty?  Do I need to add Rifamcin to above? Among above antibioticsi any more effective than others?  I for instance noticed that Clarithromycin removes my simptoms when Doxycyccline not (maybe resistance?).  I was treated a few times in the past with 1 antibiotic for CPNi....and all symptoms kept coming back.  This is my last hope.

THANK YOU !!!!

Not quite, but nearly!

Not quite, but nearly!

Start with doxycycline by itself.  Don't worry about amoxicillini, not needed unless you can't take NACi.

Add azithromycin or roxithromycin.  Amoxicillin being stronger is taken three times a week, but roxithromycin every day.

Start metronidazolei after three months because you will find it easier by then. The dose is right but some people start more gradually, maybe just one tablet a day, then call that the first pulse.  Read up various people's reactions to metronidazole before you start!

NAC is taken every day.

The amounts taken you have correctly.

I took rifampicin for six months with roxithromycin but then stopped to take the abxi intermittently, because you can't take rifampicin that way.

I doubt if doxycycline has developed a resistance with you.

But now: GOOD LUCK!!!

Incidentally, what disease do you have?

Completed Stratton/Wheldon regime for aggressive secondary progressive MSi in June 2007, after four years, three of which intermittent.   Still improving bit by bit and no relapses since finishing treatment.

Thank you!!!Here's my deaseas

Thank you!!!

Here's my deaseas - never ending rhinitis, some throat pain, tempertarue changes (feels like micro cold), pain in joints, feeling off balance. It overall feels im falling apart at age 30.  I did all sort of tests and nothing really was found except for CPNi I did have IGAi and it was treated with clarithromycin - all symptoms would go away and then it comes back.  I try again and same thing.  So I feel I never wipe it off.

On doxycycline - it was first prescribed to me when all this started and it didnt really feel to do much work.  Then we changed to clarithromycin and it felt immediatly better.  So if I feel doxy does not work I can change to clary, right?  As long as I take 2 bacteriostatic antibioticsi at the same time, I fine, right?

And thank you for your help!  This is my last resort.

In case the above creates a misuderstanding, Azithromycin is 250mg 3 times per week
